Will epoxy be weaker or have any different quality to it if it is moved around as it cures?

I have needed to work with epoxy as it cured in a couple of scenarios. In one I had to use 30 minute epoxy to form a shape and to adhere well to the wood so I worked it till it thickened. However I was concerned about it possibly not having its full strength which I do need.

Thanks for any info on this.
