yea I know what you mean about the deer season. Our gun season comes in the last week of this month. So I too will not be working on my plane that week.
Thanks

yea I cant wait until I'm finished with this last wing. I just started the left wing tonight and I'm all ready tired of messing with it. I just hate doing things twice that's all.

Do you think that I'll have enough power with the engine I bought? Fuji Imvac say's that it will put out 5.7HP at 9000rpm giving 30lbs of thrust while spinning a 22x10 prop.

I know I really dont care for how they keep the wing attached by haveing to drill and tap that pole. Did you ever run into any problems with that at all?

well I must go back to working on that damb wing. Looking forwared to hearing from you. Thanks agian
Chadwick

Much cleaner with paragraphs... Just my opinion .

Well, my 80 RV has 8.5Hp at 8500 RPMs if my memory serves me well. A lot more power than the fuji... 3D will defenitely be out of question and by all means keep the plane light. A 22x10 prop is a 50cc prop. The plane will defenitely fly but performance may be a bit deceiving...

I also really don't care about the stock wing attachment . I reinforced the wing root so that it could accept a 6-32 blind nut and bolted the wing to the fuselage from the inside of the fuselage. It worked great for 2 years now. I did the same with the stabs except the bolt is on the underside of the stab instead of from inside the fuselage.

Wings are not allowed to come appart on any plane so the stock setup is not allowed also IMO...

Man that sucks!!! What piece are you missing? I still havn't worked on mine since the last post. I've been going round and round with Tower Hobbies. They over charged my Debit card $148.68 and they are giving me the run around about it. So need less to say I dont feel like working on a plane at the moment. Then not to mention our deer season comes in on Monday so i wont be getting much done that week either. Any ways hope you get your piece soon.

well i came home tonight and my parts from great planes was on my doorstep so i wasted no time in getting back to the build

first i had to build all my jigs, glue some sheeting together, and the main leading and trailing edge supports as well

after that i laid down the plans for the right wing, pinned the main spar and got all the ribs cut out and all punched out,, wow that all took some time to do all that,i worked a little late but it felt good to get back at it

Hey there, Yes I remember that step. Good thing you only have to put together those jigs one time. I have my second wing finished up just about. The only thing left if to put the leading edge's on the wing and the aileron. I really hate haveing to shape the leading edge's of those parts. I wish the kit would have come with those allready done, but that would be a perfect world.

I have been hunting these last two days, I shot at a 8 point on Monday and missed. Tuesday I shot and hit a 6 point but never found him. We tracked that wounded deer for hours and never found him. That really sucked. My buddy shot a spike finally at about 4pm when we were getting ready to head off to another woods. I'll give it another try this weekend. I have planed to hunt Saturday and Sunday, hopefully I'll get a monster buck (LOL).

Well good luck with your build. The wings are pretty straight forward and boreing. If you get stuck shout out and I know I'll be able to help you, you should'nt have a problem though. Good luck building, and I'll try to post some new photo's soon.
