Eddie, Would it be okay to bring the RV and just camp at the field? IF so is there a water hydrant? I can generate for power.

Got a new 93" CA models 31% extra with ZDZ 80, flies great just working on trimming and minor mixes.

I am going to contact the area motels like last year and try to get the special rate. Ryck was saying he was trying to get the judging school done maybe around Februay, so these date will ork out better.

Eddie

Sounds great Eddie.
Yea, I'll need to get a hotel for a night when I come down.

Just keep me informed on the dates and I'll clear my calender.... I'm really looking forward to meeting with ya'll again, and trying to get a head start for next year. I will not miss this years camp !!!!

I probably won't have the 40% done by then.( That is, unless Dan's buys me that DA150 before then LOL.... ) But the 28%WH should work for now .

Really looking forward to this event.
Thanks again
Shaun

I know they close the park off at night, will have to ask Doug about RV. I don't think there should be a problem since they have hosted on of the biggest Helicopter meets anywhere and I'M sure some stayed out there. I will keep you informed.

Guys

Spoke with Doug and staying there with an RV is OK. There is also hook ups, but they are about 1 mile away. Shaun if you want a good 150, I want to sell the 3W-150 SS with the cans for 1600.00, I will even throw in an extra set of headers and cans.

I hope we have as good a weather weekend this year as we did last year!! The weather was perfect on Sat and very good on Sunday! I can hardly wait!!

Eddie, do you anticipate doing almost exactly what/how we did last year? I think the guys learned a lot by us concentrating on the basics (yes, even a couple of Sportsman pilots needed to refress the basics)!!

I do plan on doing lots of basic stuff, I even pick up on stuff I have forgotten over time. I really want to keep the aresti time to a minimum since Ryck is coming to help with flight set-ups. It will give the guys more time to practice what is correct versus what is percieved to be right. I still want to do a mini contest Sunday morning with a couple of rounds maybe even a set of unknowns. Also I thought of going ahead and working with the new guys on positioning in the box. That always seems to be a hot topic.

Eddie call AMA they will send you a CD packet consisting of a rulebook and a test. Take the open book test and send the app in with $20. You will need 3 AMA member signatures. The test is easy, just goto the AMA website download the Competition guide and safety rules then do a text search for the answers. AMA sends you a certificate, and as a bonus when you CD a AMA santioned event your get 50% off your AMA Membership the following year.

Sounds good Eddie. I'll do whatever part you want me to help with. BTW, if you want to sanction this event, I can do it for you since I'm a CD. I just need some basic information like what is the host club's charter/AMA number, dates (which I have), it's a non-competitive event (even though there is flying), limited to Basic and Sportsman and a backup CD (which I'm sure we ca
