Give us a chance Bro.. Some of us are asleep while your awake..

1st of all, Do you really want to go Nitro?.. Harder to drift and way more expensive to run.
These Days Electrics are just as quick without the mess of fuel and have the convienience of just Charge and go.

2nd: Where will you drift or Race it, Is the space Huge? a Nitro will need at least a Netball court sized area to drift on where as an electric can be drifted in a Shed with an Area of a Hand ball court..

The RS4 Ev03 is a Great Nitro Chassis and will drift and race just fine, I would recommend going the .18 Engine though as the .15 can be a bit Breathless

Nitro's Will drift, its Just they dont like it and Engine Heat can be a HUGE issue when Drifting..

If you feel like buying a stage D, go for it. Or buy some hpiD tires and drift. Then you could always switch back to normal tires for bashing/racing.

Spartan Does Speak the Truth.. Most people Buy the Nitro thinking " Its a REAL Engine its gotta be Better" then find out " Crap I shouldda just got the Electric to begin with"

I have to ask though, You said you like the Nitro more then the Batteries?
So You are prepared to spend $$$$ on Fuel, Tyres and Failsafes and be prepared to spend more time on tuning then running it?
As those are the Only "Advantages " Nitro has over electric..

Enjoy cold morning starts and retunes as an Electric Requires none of these..

The Only time I reccommend Nitro over Electric is Offroading..

mmmm.... ok. we can have all the fun of tunin electrics and have even more fun runnin them. in other words it wont take us weeks to modify a nitro and not have any fun. Drop it. Suit youself. We warned you. Now like I said befo cuz "Just you wait and see".

Holla at ya boy

Spartan drifter out

Edit: money aint got squat on fun. you spend thousands of bucks chroniclly buyin fuel and all dat stuff and makin sho the car runs; tunin it every five minutes and all dat jive. It adds up. and with the new system out these days like brushless systems. They are made to smoke nitro and not be noisy.

a $40 Battery willl always outlast $40 worth of Nitro but the choice is yours...
Running an Electric requires just as much brains and just as much skill but without the annoying cost or the sound of a mosquito on heat..

Visit a few drift meets and talk to drivers and see what they run and what they advise.. no use going nitro if your local drift venue only allows electric...
Last thing you want to be is a loner at a meet..
If after answering these questions and Your Heart still says Nitro.. Then Go nitro..
RS4 will serve you just fine...
and Yes 20 Years old is Young...
I would be Veteran compared to that lol!

FYI youngen we have tried nitro driftin. And it dont provide nearly as much fun as an elec. We aint sayin nitro sucks period, we are sayin that nitro aint preferred in drifting. And we also have plenty of money. A brushless system is costin as much as a nitro engine. and its way better then dem hot nitro mosquitas.
