Ichi, no offense intended, but did you check the links page? The pics are there already. BTW, I use wrapping wire for these mods. Tim

the bipe or the heli...Rog, actually the bipe is great for my small front yard,,,the heli is a bit small in my living room, so I take it to work sometimes...Rog

That depends on what you hope to do with the plane...

1) The biplane is great for flying low and slow.
This one can be flown in a school gym.
This plane flies 8-12 minutes non-stop.
It can reach 100 feet of altitude in 1 minute.
Weighs 20 grams. Won't carry much more weight.
Lighting (LED for night flying) have to be applied close to the fuselage.

2) The Sport has a lot more lift - think sailplane/glider.
This one flies in a bigger, higher space. It rises so fast, I don't think it would work well indoors.
I regularly get 17-18 minutes flights... 20% of that I'm letting the plane glide back down to earth.
It can reach 100 feet of altitude in 30 seconds.
Weighs 15 grams and can easily carry landing gear and uses it well.
Lighting (LED for night flying) can be applied right at the wingtips.

3) Read some of the feedback about the Jet and the AcroJet...
I've not flown them but it seems that the Jet is faster and turns slower, the AcroJet seems like the hardest one to tame.

Yeah, especially when someone does the mods for ya.
THANKS TIM!
Here's mine that Tim modded into a rocket. Got all the goodies, including the bigger lipo and Dean's charging jack.
It zooms into the air, will launch from the palm of your hand, no toss needed. Turns on a dime. Tim as I said did the mods to it and the tx, but I added a little paint to make it look like the backyard terror it is.

This is the turn mod for the new controllers. Thanks to Martyn McKinney, and rcg for this info. Here's the link. Also thanks to Parky50, who found the info. I'm just trying to share it.

The bipe sucks. The jet is okay. The single wing is THE BEST!

I know one guy striped the "guts" out of his AE and mounted it onto a 14" long (ish) depron wing, flew GREAT, tip, remove the throttle spring, makes flight ALOT easier

Asher, thank you from all of us that try tomaintain the thread.

Calvin, by removing the spring you are losing the ability to do many "stunts". the spring allows you to have more control over what the plane will do. You can't dump the throttle and bring it back up as fast as letting the throttle drop via the spring and the hammering it back to power. That quick drop acts as both elevator and stunt set up. I know I'm wasting my time, but there it is. I never send out a tricked ace with the throttle spring removed.

Tim
