    RC David:
You probably have this already fixed but the % on the screen are the% of servo travel and have nothing to do with expo. If the travel 5 are not set right, servos can be stalled at throttle off or full throttle. Activate the expo where it says inh. Actual expo is done on page 79 in the book as you mentioned.

Not really surprised about the results, but do you guys know wich are the fastes radios on the market ? futaba 12 Z / 14 Z and DX7 !!!!! yes it is as fast as those so called major leagues radios and Futaba fasst tech is way under spektrum DX7.

What a good choice this radio is in performance, quality and price.

Bang for the buck- the best of the bunch
I did get a X9303 but only because a friend wanted my DX7 and I lost no money on it.

    Thanks Flypaper 2.

I have not fixed it yet as I had a little incident :-( My first crash. Not major but needed new blades, landing skids.

I will eventually see if expo helps me. Right now the cyclic is pretty loose around center stick already. The DX7 is so complex, I'm afraid of changing ANYTHING while I'm just learning how to hover.

Maybe this link should be "sticky". How many times has this question been asked on this thread...

Purhaps making the Search button bigger would help everyone out. I will request that from the admins

Doesn't this explain how to set up dual elevators. I don't have any planes with dual elevators, but I think this covers it.

    Elevator Set up
    1. Power off tx and turn back on. Go to normal programming mode
    2. Scroll to P-mix 6 (or Mix 5 - mix 5 and 6 "master" trim changes into both master and slave channel. Mixes 1 through 4 do NOT - editor). Set ELEV as master and AUX2 as slave.
    3. Scroll to Sub Trim and set the neutral for the right side elevator with ELEV channel and the neutral for the left side elevator with AUX2.
    4. Scroll to Travel Adjust. Set the desired travel for the right side elevator with the ELEV adjustment.
    5. Scroll back to P-Mix 6 and tweak the travel of the left side elevator to match the right side with the mix values, for each stick direction.

Nope -you left out a few steps

On all these TX -- the DEFAULT SWITCH POSITIONS are ON - Really dumb but all of em do it
so first thing -- is to go to setup page and INH switch and trim
Then you can mix el> aux 2 in mix 5 or 6
add 100% both ways besure to get travel direction opposite the El channel
    then leave it all alone
done this way- the two servos will move EXACTLY the same with without expo or irrespective of travel adj .
Now install the servos in the model and adjust linkages and horns ( leave the radio alone ) till movements are identical

I noticed that Horizon is offering a free upgrade on their receivers. has anyone taken or planning to take advantage of this. I bougt a new receiver a couple weeks ago. I need to check it to see if has the upgrades already incorporated. Apperently they hve been shipping receivers with 2 new features, the first is "quick Disconnect" which eliminates the 3 second delay due to sub 3.5 volts and the second is a flashing receiver telling you the battery is low voltage. for dsm2 recivers only. I have 5 receivers that I will be sending in in the near future. Sounds like Horizon is making good on a design feature that wasn't ideal.

How do you know what receiver you have and if it needs the upgrade?
