Geez. Amazing how things change when you get what you want. One extreme to the other. Probably it was just like the man said they are super busy during the christmas rush and they dont have time to check their probably thousands of emails a week. Now that christmas is over he can email you three times a day so you dont flame his company any further on RCU. You know this company is a bare bones distributor that sells cheap arf kits. If you want lightning quick customer service you probably need to go ahead and pay premium price and go with horizon hobby.

Nice , KEEP YOUR PERSONALE ATTACKS TO YOURSELF!!!!
Not what this post is for

Wait till it happens to you!!!!!

That is exactly what this post is for or maybe you didnt read that part.

The bare bones company started this forum to resolve problems and change the bad rap that they have created, And they should get credit when they correct it.

Yes I was upset after nine days with no reply, looks to me that Im not alone, since then they have taken care of the problem and it is only fair that I share this with you and others on this forum. What should I do stay pissed? , And What? I am not allowed to be happy when I get someting I should have had from the start.

My complaint was with the company and it was resolved.

I think you should take your BS to onther forum

I do not think that he is just saying this about you, i too have been watching so many people complain about there kits and cut the company and when they get there part it is a great company trying there best, he is not pointing just you out it is everyone that buys from this company and this is an over and over thing they do the same and order another kit and again there cutting the company down, people but there cause here chealp kits but they are not that bad i know a buy that buys there and has not had any problems yet, but it is as easton 24 said but he was not just saying this about you or to put you down, maybe it could of been said in a better way, i think that it is great that they do take care of people even though they are slow some companys that i buy top quality airplanes will not replace certain things or you have a hard time to get what was broken, this is a site like damroadhog has mentioned to not point anyone out after all we are all in the same hobby so let us all talk nicely to one another and i do not blame one for complaining about what he did not get and he did get his part so in the end everyone is happy and if not for these people that are complaining we would not know about what we are dealing wih and it is nice of them to tell us what is going on and i am glad that he got his plane taken care of by his actions, this is a free site for one to say as he wants to but not to cut anyone down, let us listen and learn from one another.

Biggest problem I've seen is a construction manual obviously written by someone who never actually put a plane together - specificially a Bobcat 50. Wrong screws were specified for several assembly steps, and assembly called for glueing the wings on before assembling the wing pylons. Biggest problem however, was that the fuel tank was shown installed with the plug end facing the pusher engine. In this configuration the plane would stall the minute the plane pulled up.

Hi there people!!! Basically pilot727 is right...We chose to have this forum discussion on our behalf because we want to improve our customer service...It is OK for people to whine and vent their frustrations here because this is exactly what this forum is about...however, we tried our best to train our customer service people not to send any frustrating customers here...if there's problem, we do our best to solve it over emails or phone...it's jsut that sometimes the people we hire just not managing the customer service dept well enough so some really frustrating customers would come to RCU! It's OK because the upper management people just want to catch every issues we have!!! and to be honest, some of the people we hire might ignore issues in the past (like early stage of our business) but I think the last half of 2006 has been pretty cool (besides some missing part issues, damage by fedex, and the busy christmas )...

so i hope 2007 will be a even better year and hopefully this thread will not take off !!!
We will also add a few more tech guys to the team and mostly likely will work with our local flying clubs to help us out with tech issue

We will also work more on the QC to minimize missing parts and add more $$$ to the package so it won't be damage as easily....

As for the manuals, it has always been a negative factor to us so we going to improve on those too!!! Just a slower process

So until next year, Happy New Year everyone!!!

IMHO it's also nice to hear when things ARE resolved.

So often things do get taken care off (I'm not talking just about N.P. here.) but the original posts may leave a poor impression that others may pick up on, especially when people don't read through entire threads.

I'm glad to see that NP is back at it dealing with these things.

Nitro,
When you get a chance, check out order yhst-17210252890263-13697 for me. I ordered a speed controller, 7.4 battery and a 4ch receiver. Received the order but the receiver was shorted from the box. I don't know if it was lost or fell out during shipping as no packing list was included, and it shows shipped status on your site. I have emailed pictures of the box to your support email but have not heard back from the initial response a few days ago.

I know you guys are slammed, just don't forget me

Nitrostaff1,

I started a thread for a problem I am having with my cowl on a Yak-52 56".

The cowl is terribly deformed, and looks terrible on an otherwise nicely built plane.

My First Yak did not have this problem, and was a real joy to fly for 3 flights, until someone shot me down on takeoff. So I ordered another plane from one of your vendors. I have had the plane for about 3 weeks when I got the opportunity to finally build it, and completed it in just 2 days.

The plane this time around did not have the cowl "ring" glued to the firewall, or 5 slots for CA Hinges in the wings like my first one did. I also noticed that the firewall was not covered in matching trim colors like my first one was.

I am not at all unhappy with my plane, but would like some help with the cowl, and possibly some yellow covering to cover the firewall edges.

Nitrostaff,

This is not a complaint but more of a suggestion. How about some pictures on the website of the underside of the planes. I don't know about everyone else but I tend to look at the bottom more than the top....LOL Anyways, just a suggestion.

As far as suggestions go, how about a packing list showing parts that did not arrive due to pack order, online order status that is accurate, and accurate inventory status of online items. Customer service that responds in less that 12 hours would be a plus too. Putting packing material into a box full of loose items would be a amazing step in the right direction as well.
