I am trying to decide between the two engines noted in the "subject" line for my KMP B-25. Can anyone tell me which one has the "deeper" more realistic "sound"? Is one or the other more problematic to operate?

Thanks for any advice!

Hi Wingman

Both the RCV91CD and the RCV90SP sound very realistic, so really it is a matter of choice.
The RCV91CD is more conventional to use - ie. it uses conventional props, requires up to 1 hour of run in, is started in the more conventional manner.
Alternatively the RCV90SP uses larger scale propellers, so you could use a scale 3 or 4 bladed prop on the B25. These engines take a longer run in period - 1 - 2 hours. Starting can be done from behind the prop.

I am sorry I don't have a definitive answer.
Best regards
Laurenne

Laurenne, thanks for your feedback! I prefer to use a three bladed prop so that in itself has me leaning toward the SP. Thanks again!
