Some pictures of the 300 all put together. All I have to do is the radio gear and yes it looks like there's snow on the forecast so the maiden might have to wait a few weeks.

Albert you have one sharp looking plane, great job. Mine just arrived today might get a chance to start it before the weekend. Once again you did a super job on your plane. Good luck with the maiden, you should bring it to the WRAM show, Tony

Albert,

The plane looks great. Checked the weather in Richmond this weekend- partly sunny and mid to upper 40's......

I was cleaning up the shop cabinets this week and ran across a picture from several years back- my first Joe Nall- probably 8+ years ago now. Carden did a 40% Ultimate for Mike McConville. Never went to production. Sorry for the quality- I just took a digital picture of the photo.

You build WAY too fast !

Has any other Carden 300 flown yet ? If not, I think you should get out regardless of the cold and become the first....

Nope, that was my Ultimate and Carden was considering doing a kit of it, but decided not to do it. That model was an earlier version of what became the Hnagar 9 Ultimate. It was very similar but had thinner wings with flying wires and a few other little differences.

Thanks for the clarification, Mike. Is this plane still flying somewhere?

You probably don't remember this but at the 2004 Masters we shared a table and conversation at lunch (one of our mutual friends is Wayne Geffen). Among other things we talked about your Carden 260 - I don't think it was done yet as you weren't flying it - and I had suggested that someone should throw a larger canopy on one, push the turtledeck back a bit and turn it into a 300. Obviously I wasn't the only one that thought that.

I can have it ready for the weekend but I'm looking at 4" of snow right now and we're suppose to get 12" to 16". Hummm...., maybe some skis ? BTW my wife doesn't think I'm fast enough, at building that is.

What better place to maiden an IMAC plane than at a IMAC boot camp. Besides Ty will be close by if you get nervous.

I was planning on going since my dad wanted to go but we had a family emergency and we're no longer going.
