Plastic is plastic and on a big hit something usually breaks. On my Losi 8ight B I've had some serious crashes and a run in with the foundation of my house and nothing broke... a few gouges, but nothing broke. I've had truggys and other buggys crash into my 8ight and we all survived without issue. An LST swallowed my 8ight one day at my local track and once the dust settled my 8ight was fine... it had some tire marks on it's lid, but nothing major and no damage. As Super_Dave said... the lower arms are extremely beefy and I've seen some folks put a crack in half of the arm and complete a race without realizing it until the brought in. The weakest link on the 8ights are from the RTR plastic shock caps. Those parts I've seen crack on little jumps and such, but again it's a major stress point so I can it happening. Once you have the aluminum caps the issue is gone. The 8ight is just as beefy as any other truck or buggy out there....
