Well, it was a very bad day for my 8ight last night First off my buddy was talking trash and he got on the track probably 30 seconds before me so I quickly caught up and as we went through the woops and into our jump in front of our pit/driver stand I landed on him at probably 15 mph and it wasn't a hard hit at all and CRACK, it rang through out the place and I was like no way...so I assess the problem. I found my Lunsford Titanium hinge pin curled like an antenna tube but nothing else broke(What a waste of 30 bucks on the kit). So I go and replace it with a steel hinge pin and I'm running again. I'm putting down some good laps with no crashes and I didn't hit anything and all the sudden I'm like "Aww crap I have no steering." so I tell a marshal to bring it in and I find out my left front spindle snapped(UGH!). I replace the left spindle and I'm running clean again, no accidents and no bad landings and I have no steering yet again! WHAT THE H3LL!? So I pit in and I find out my JR 9100S won't hold it's center line anymore and it's done. I think it was the cold because it was 0 degrees last night so I'm guessing that's why the problems occured.

On another hand when I wasn't broken I sure did throw down some decent laps and I was ahead of everyone else when I wasn't broken. My rear end gets squirley if I'm not careful with the throttle(running 5000W in the diff) and because it's kicking to a side I'm going to run 7000w any tips people? My track is high bite but I still spin the tires.

For steering I had plenty of turning(Until I snapped a spindle and my servo gave out) running 2(?) degrees of toe out and 2 degrees of negative camber on the front, 1 degree of negative camber on the rear. The trug felt very planted until I would spin on powering through the turns.

I switched from 5000w in the rear to 7000w so I'll see how that works this coming Thursday.

Best thing i ever did to my 8ight was lower the back diff fluid

I was running 5k in the rear, it just wanted to throw the rear end around

I lowered it to 3k it helped soooo much i may even go to 2k

The only thing I'd be worried about is it unloading to one wheel so fast and causing the trug to pull off to the side like it was doing to me with the 5k w. I'm going to pick up some 2k and 3k w and bring them to the track with me and see what happens. I'll let everyone know. Adam Drake is running 3k in the rear though so that's probably my best bet lol. I'm also using non offset pro lines so a wider stance of offset wheels might help out a bit, we'll see though!
