Ok pulled it off again and reinstalled, this time it fit perfect. Something must have been misaligned. Thanks for all the help.

I almost don't want to say lol.

For Diffs:

Front-7,000w
Center-10,000w
Rear-3,000w

Suspension
Shafts level front and back
Front springs-Black
Rear springs-Gray
Front Camber-2 degrees negative
Rear Camber-1 degree negative
Front Toe-2 degrees out
Rear Toe-1 degree out
Front Shock Oil-40w
Rear Shock Oil-40w

Tires/wheels
Pro-Line LPR Wheels/w Holeshots 0degree offset- They hook up well but bumps while turning will cause you to roll over.

Team-Losi XTT/w Team Losi white wheels 1/2'' Offset(?)- These provide good turning through bumps but don't hook up too well.

Pro-Line LPR Wheels/w Holeshots 1/2'' Offset- Best of both worlds, they hook up great on my local and the added stability stops roll-overs.

JR 9100S servos for steering and throttle/brake.

Mach 427 Engine(I don't really need more speed...just yet )

Stock pipe and header(Changing when I get a new engine)

Adjustable front hinge pin brace

Ti Hinge pins all around

just do the 3k before you change the sway bar, i found that helped the squirrlyness of it

Same here. I changed the rear fluid to 3k and it was a huge improvement for my local track.

hey guys, I will be installing the servos on my 8ight-t very soon, I have heard there are a lot of problems with throttle servos burning, so my question is if any of you guys can tell me how to properly set up the linkages or, if there is a site where I can see how to do it? thanks

PS: I have the o-ring under the baterry box if that is any good.

I havn't found any links on a how-to-setup but its pretty simple, After I blew the stock servo I relized a couple things

1. Make sure the carb its self is aligned(I had to loosen my carb and reangle it)
2. Make sure the linkage is level leading to the carb
3. Do not run drag brake
4. The stock servo was very weak and may have just blown from using the brakes(Just a guess though)
5. Make sure that when you hold WOT you can still slide the carb out by hand a little more 1/8 inch or so(for flexing)

When your done everything should be very smooth no rubbing or binding.. Hold your finger on your carb as you pull the throttle trigger see if you can feel any rubbing or grinding happening with the slide..

Hope this helps

Great tips.

The way I set mine was by only worrying about the carb linkage first. I made sure my carb didn't close with the brakes fully applied VIA the transmitter and I made sure that my carb opened up all the way and not too much using my linkages and my end point adjustments. For the braking side I dialed my brakes out all the way because as Slayerphonics said DO NOT RUN DRAG BRAKE as it will cause your nose to dive very hard over every jump big or small. Dial the brakes back in as needed but I wouldn't recommend running so much brake that you do endos. I have mine set just enough so that they don't lock up and they work great for me. Pay close attention to the flex in your radio tray as it will let you know your binding your linkages and you need to use your EPAs little by little to avoid the added stress and useless travel that your servos are creating.

thanks to both of you, very usefull and clear info.

I will be putting 200oz servos for steering and throttle, is that enough?

for the throttle that is way overkill but plenty for steering

That will be more than enough. Just be careful with that throttle servo and your adjustments because that much power can cause some damage
