I thought you would of used a little imagination or evidence in this arguement and posted a picture of the kyosho knuckles. Then It would of been 1;1. But no, You try to argue black is white when you are wrong. I would at least respect you a tiny bit if you admit the kyosho brake pads are superior. Even if it is cosmetic.

What makes Kyoshos pads superior??? Their price??? Nah they're OK but nothing to sing about. And just WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO SAY IM WRONG??? This is a forum for opinions, OPINIONS CAN NEVER BE WRONG!!! And mine are based on over 20 years of knowledge and experience on nitros and I'm not affraid to stand my corner in a valued discussion. You have proved to the Mass the type of Debater you are if somethings not going your way you'll turn to personal insults, I find you vulgar and your view to be pointless.
Plus isn't it just peachy that over on The Grid, folk are slaging off Kyosho for their lunatic pricing ideas, basically you get a second rate buggy for top end prices, there's nothing else to it, they have ripped off the RCer for years and now the hobbiests are voting with their wallets and Kyoshos sales are flaging. Companies like Xray, HoBao, Losi, Crono and Hong Nor are seriously taking the lead in this area and Kyosho just can't reply.

LOL I think all you guys need to square off in a boxing ring! Just a thought. If Kysoho was so crap as many people say, why would a driver like Mark Pavidis bother being sponsered by kyosho if the cars they give him were of low quality? It just doesn;t make sense. Anyway who here races a stock buggy? The sponsered 777's at the worlds are all virtually kitted out with fiorono parts anyway and this eliminates any argument against parts quality. None of those cars are stock obviously and even the V-spec MP was using is a modified protype that's not yet commercially available.

It goes without saying that every car is going to have its pro's and cons. Anyway whichever brand you prefer, it all comes from the same place; China.

Exactly, Nothing makes sense Grahama posts. If his posts are based on 20 years of knowledge, Jesus he must be a slow learner.
Wasent there a thread on here a few months back "What happened to Grahama" and all his crazy statements. I've searched and searched and cannot find it.

What everyone fails to realize is that we do not live in Soviet Union. There's something called 'The Market' and anyone will sell their stuff at the highest price they can get.
If Kyosho couldn't sell their kits for $700 they wouldn't but people are willing to pay so there you go.... not hard to understand.

Do you think OFNA would sell any cars if they priced the Hyper 8 (for example) for $700 or even $800? Don't think so...
Wether you like it or not brand name and brand recognition makes a difference. If you don't like the K cars don't buy them.

This is just another 'what I own is the best' kind of fan boy thread anyway. I've got three K cars and a Losi 8ight but only paid retail for one of them.

Ohh yeah.... forgot this.

Think you'll find my statements make perfect sense, it's just you that likes to twist them, and where was I, well let's just say I was out of the country defending YOUR liberties. This is a discusion on the value of Kyosho, but somehow you've turned it in to a lets discredit members, unfortunately every piece of you spewed up bollox has been shot down in flames, you are slowly realising (I think) that if Kyoshos were good enough stock, then they wouldn't need aftermarket stuff to make them reliable to compete in the worlds. I opted for the King headz stuff on my Kyosho once the stock items had bent or broken, pound for pound Hobaos have always felt more solid and more realistically priced.

Of course I have no proof of this but I have an idea of one reason Pavidis would drive for kyosho. Maybe he races for kyosho because kyosho can pay him more then anyone else after saving all of the money from putting some low quality parts in their kit. Like I said in other posts its not a big problem at all but there are parts in there that can deffinatly be made better for the price you pay.

Also pro racers shouldn't have to upgrade half of their buggy to race it especially if your selling them for $600-700. Tell me how many upgrades the pros running the Losi 8ight and Hyper 8 have? I honestly have no idea but I can almost guarentee you its not half of their buggy.

I'm sticking with my earlier statements. Kyosho makes a good product but they are selling it for way more then its worth because people like you are willing to pay for it. Even though you can get a buggy thats just as good or better for less cash. Unless maybe you live where jimk2 does because with his price listings the SP2 was one of the cheapest.

I agree, the reason why Kyosho sells is because the cars are worth it. Would anybody honestly buy a $700 Hyper?? So obviously these cars are seling so there must be something there that is worth it. And I don't think it is first timers. I newbie isn't gonna know what makes a K car great so they won't lay down loads of money for a first time buggy.

All of the Fioroni hop ups that were on the car the won the worlds doesn't affect the performance at all. So the handling is obviously great, its just for a little more security. Your not going to take a chance at the Worlds.

have you guys even seen the cars these guys drive at the worlds? they are all hopped up to the max. They may have kyosho or hyper or whatever on the body but they are by no means stock. not even close. And I disagree about the fioroni parts not making the cars perform better. They do on my car. They are the stiffest, strongest & lightest parts you can get and they do help make the car drive better. Then add clutches, diffs, drivetrain, shocks etc etc. Nothing & I mean nothing is stock on these race buggys. What we buy is not what they drive, so there's little point arguing which one's superior.
In regards to MP. again when you have probably several companies knocking your door down to sponser you, you are simply going to go with the best manufactuer right? I certainly would. I don;t think its about being paid a lot of money because there really isn;t that much money to be made in this sport even at its highest level.
