Hi, thanks for writing. It was discontinued (at least for a while) because Dub sold somewhere around 7-10 of them last year. Pleanty of parts and product support still available. A good deal of R&D time and money went into the engine - lots of time and money - and it runs great. The engine features a special AACC construction - AAC plus a special ceramic material on the piston. Holds a perfect fit pretty much regardless of the cylinder temperature (cool, warm, hot). The 1.20L engine was truely revolutionary. Its performance, size and weight were truely innovative. Dub produced the first ".61" size engine that could turn a 16x8 prop at 10K rpm. THe YS 110 is closest in performance. Good engine. Popular. Pressurized fuel system is a bonus. When OS designed an engine with those same size/weight/performance/displacement goals in mind... they came up with a good 1.20 engine with similar performance. Those modelers looking for that size engine are clearly going to go toward the main-stream eastern-rim engines. Personally, I love my 1.20L. That and the 1.00L run absolutely great.
