Assembled fuel gurus,

A bunch of us in my area, encompassing three diferent flying clubs, are in need of a source for 20 to 40 cases of fuel. We would like to have the recommendations of this group of a manufacturer or manufacturers that you would recommed for an order of this size. It would have to be shipped, truck freight is okay, to the Central Midwest area. Majority of fuel would be 10 to 15% all synthetic fuel for airplanes and helis, and perhaps 20 gallons of other blends. Fuel quality is of utmost importance over price.

Please include web addresses, ph #'s , etc with recommendations.

Your experiences appreciated.

Thanks

Hammer time,

Try "Cooper's Custom Blend". They have treated us extremely well. They are a midwestern company so freight charges may be less than some of the others. We have done about 200 gallons of business with them this past year and they have treated us great. They were able to mix and match anything we wanted and even did some custom blends for a buddy of mine.
The quality is fantastic, best I've ever run and full list of contents is on the label, they have a proven blend for most every need you could desire.

Last I knew, they did'nt have a web site and work by word of mouth, but you can contact them by e-mail at: ccbfuels@iserv.net

Or you can private message "Fuelman", he is the owner.

one vote for Cooper Custom Blends,This fuel has become so popular here in the great lakes region that some of the hobby shops in Kalamazoo,Battle creek area have quit carrying other name brands because of the customer response for the CCB fuels.
Call Brian Cooper (owner) at (269)420-1539 or email him at
ccbfuels@iserv.net He is very able to ship large quantities.

I've run 2-3 cases of Cooper's Blend in my engines and don't have anything bad to say about that brand of fuel!

If you want the best fuel at the LOWEST PRICE then check out S&W fuels.

http://www.s-whobby.com/prices.html

Their fuel contains 20% oil, 98% of it is synthetic and 2% is castor. A perfect combo for general purpose use for most RC applications 2 and 4 stroke. Their fuel burns clean, idles great, and is the lowest price out there.

Their regular price for 10% nitro fuel is just 9 bucks a gallon.
15% nitro is 10 bucks a gallon.

My only regret is that I didn't buy more of this stuff as a East Coast swap meet a while back.

Will second the Cooper's Blend vote. Having spoke to him in the past about an order, and was told if you order more than 10 cases he picks up the shipping and freight charges. Can't go wrong with that.

Our club just received an order of 33 cases from:
http://members.aol.com/magnumfuel/

Magnum Fuels is in Denver.

10% Nitro, synthetic or castor/synthetic blend, cost $9.45 per gallon with free truck freight because we ordered a lot.

I haven't started using mine yet, but the members who have started using it are very happy.
