can anyone on here help me please.....


i took my rush evo out today and evrything was fine untill the car started going really slow and i could smell burning (like plastic burning) , the engine is still running fine, and when i pick the car up the wheels still spin but when i put it back down again it just wont move... im new to RC so any help would br great thank you , DAZ

if this tread is in the wrong place could someone please move to the right place for me . Cheers

Check the spur gear
And
Your clutch shoes

You can try holding the spur geat tight with hand and rolling the truck. If the truck rolls and you can hold the spur with it not being able to turn then tighten the spur, and try it again

hi have just got a rush evo and it doe's not want too move and i spoke to the guy thatt i got it off and he said the spur gear too

check the little pin that holdes the slipper clutch pad on
or is this only on the heavy duty one that has that??
sorry if im confusing its just mines broken to (glo plug and exhaust coupling...and a few other things i cant diagnose) and i cant be bothered to fix it right now because ive mooved on to a traxxas revo, i havent been on the rush in bout 6 months
i still love the car but it is quite expensive considering i need the funding for my revo

huuh i wish i was rich

Sounds like clutch shoes to me ive had this with my mt2 take them out and if there smooth then get some new ones or if you dont want to spend any money scratch them up with a bit of sand paper it should help a bit but really you need new clutch shoes.
