I wanted to pass on some paint information to anyone who may need to repaint the white on the JL T-45, I went to my local Auto paint supplier and had them run a computerized color match on the white, they came up with a 1990 Mazda (Code UC) the name of the color is "Crystal White".
When I paint the nose of my T-45 I will post some photos.

Just wondering if anyone have ordered wing fairings for their wings. I ordered a set but I only received enough to cover the aileron and flap control horns. I thought I would get enough to cover the flap hinges.
Just had two flights with my new T45 (21lb, JC Falcon power). Very, very fast - too much power really for normal flying but the Falcon has plenty of poke to get it off a soggy grass strip, midwinter at my club site, Longhorsley in NE England.
Falcon installation is shown in pic' and is very neat by removal of ~ 3/4" of duct, then insertion of my own fabricated FOD and the front housing mates up beautifully.
A couple of criticisms on an otherwise lovely kit; the main leg springs are not really man enough and will be replaced. Also, the brakes don't work unless there's ~ 100lb in the air system. Any comments?

Nice setup. I wish I had kept my Falcon. I am almost done with my T-45.
What's your C.G. location?
By the way, do you have the problems of the main gear doors hitting the wheels when the plane is on the ground? I have to remove a section of the gear doors to clear rooms for the wheels. I then glued the section of the doors on the wings so when the gear's up, the doors sit flush with the wings.
I modified the wing tips to make it more scale and also added the vortex generators.
Here are some photos of the planes before I applied any decals. It's polished, air bubble filled, and repainted to get rid of the ugly seam lines and air bubbles. will put a semi-glossy coat after the decals are applied.
The inner gear doors are presently not attached. The doors on the legs tend to dig-in at the pointed lower front - exacerbated by the spring problem. I've just removed that corner this morning - very non-scale I admit but I want the model to be flyable from my local patch and not just a 'Runway Queen'!
You seem to be going the 'whole hog' with the finishing - should look very nice when it's finished. One last point, I found the recommendation of 15mm for ailerons way too sensitive. Reduced it to 12mm with 50% exp.. AFT is 30mm with 30% expo -just right.

What did you use for your vortex generators? I'm doing the same for my wing. I was planning on using the method that A-GO used on his in previous post. I'm also trying to come up with a solution to the main wheels banging the gear door. Steve

KW, Your T-45 looks great, you have the same set-up as mine, i.e. Falcon for the push. Did you find that you needed to cut you mounting rails for the Falcon to be centered in the inlet? I made a short set of rails that bolted up to the bottom of the main rails, that put the engine directly in center with the inlet duct, I used a FOD screen like you described.
Did you add any extra fuel tanks?
What kind of flight time are you getting?
I added a Dubro 16 oz tank that is fed from the 78 oz main tank, the 16 oz feeds the UAT that gives me 94 oz + UAT. I also made a equipment tray graphics, I think it adds a bit of extra class.
