Thanks RCISFUN,

I see in the picture that you have Hitec servo... (?)
I also forgot to mentioned that I'm using the Power Expander EQ10.
I'll get the 10c in a few days and run some checks on small flying model just to be on the safe side.

Yea I am using a Hitec 5645...I hope I don't get lambasted on this thread now!

Before anyone comments on the "lousy" Hitec servos I isolated the servo and the slop in the elevators is not from the servo, it is in the pin of the mechanism.

Well,

I did few tests with the new Futaba 10c and the 6014FS 2.4 with Hitec servo 5955TG with no problems at all.
I connected the servo to every channel, directly and then via the power expander with same results.
Nothing but solid rock signal.
Tomorrow I'll use a flying model to test the system in flight...

Hi,

My name is Carlos. I live in Geneva, Switzerland.

Got mine today from GJC. Mike is really helpful! Big thank to him.

This plane is awesome! It looks really great. I order it in Eagles scheme, very nice paint job!

Here is my configuration :

Turbine Graupner GBooster 80+
Hitec 5985MG on flaps and ailerons
Hitech 7955TG on rudder and elevators
Receiver Futaba 2.4
BVM hopper tank

Cheers,

Carlos

Are any of you using digital wing servos for the rudder and ailerons in the Hawk? I found that standard servos will not fit in the openings provided. I currently use Hitec HS-5125MG for these surfaces.

I would be wary of using the 5125 servos, the gear train is so small they strip easy, I used the HS-5245 for those surfaces.
