Hi Eric,

Would it be possible that you can load the video onto www.youtube.com? I could not get access to Google video for unknown reasons. Thanks,

Mike

It looks awesome! THe wing problems is obviously fixed and from the sound of it, it was even quite windy. THe SB seems to really push it nice.Is the new wing still pretty scale looking? Thanks for your article in RCJI about this plane.

Hi Joe,

I’m growing to like the Super Bee more each time I fly. The turbine is very reliable both in starting and running. The thrust at 14lb is also giving a very satisfactory flight envelope as demonstrated in John Wright’s video clip.

I’ve attached two photos of the wing for your assessment of scale appearance.

Best regards,
Eric

Are the wing fences extra or did they come with the wing?

Hi Mark,

Extra.
I made the wing fences for the original wing that was withdrawn from sale. Decided to fit them anyway!

Thanks Eric, this is a very nice wing. Looks just a big larger and wider? Great in flight photos too!. The bee must be evolving just like all the jetcentral engines and getting better and better. Does Jetlegend have plans to do any other scheme for the hawk?
Eric, can you comment on knife edge? Any issues? It is nice to see the plane flown after so many had a hard time with the first wing.

Regards,

joe kelley

I was thinking of a Hawk/Falcon combo but the way the Bee pushes it around the Falcon may be overkill. I like the way it lands too and the extra weight may not be kind to low speed behavior.

I agree Mark, I have a Wren Supersport doing nothing that might do it. Wonder is they do a red arrows paint scheme too? The landing was very nice, but be aware, Eric is a really good stick!

Glad to see success to the T-45 projects out there. I was following the original thread a lot and was hoping to see these results sooner than later. Great job guys.

Hi to all, I just got my new T-45, and just to tell that the improvements are FANTASTIC .

Overall lighter, and better finishes. I also like the satin paint finish much more better than the early gloss ones.

First time I fitted the bee and it does the job, for this one I am going to fit a P-80.

Has anyone installe doors or brakes, I would like to see where to fit pistons.

Merry xmas to all.

Jose.

Hey Joe

There are some subtle differences between the T45 and standard BAe Hawk - such as the nose gear, arrestor hook, airbrakes etc.

It wouldn't really lend itself to different colour schemes without some modifications. Howver I'll ask JL if they would consider making a 'standard' Hawk. There wouldn't really be that much work involved.

I think the new wing gives a much more proportioned look to the model now. We have two finished and ready for flight but Christmas is in the way!

Merry Christmas...

Jeff
