My radiosack buddy recieved his buggy, and posted some pics of the box/instructions... I havn't talked to him though, so I don't know what I can say, but its 100% hobby class. Specifications in the instructrions state:

speed-20 mph out of the box
climbing angle- greater than 50 degrees
ESC- 80 AMP with BEC
Reciever- 3 channel FM
motor- 370 class
shocks- sillicone oil
bearings- throughout(16)

He said it felt pretty solid too.... Pretty impressive for a 'radioshack piece of crap', I think it has nearly all hobby stuff beat. Before you start talking about parts support or upgrades, remember that I can't say all that I've been told....

BTW, in stock at some stores I believe.

Why don't you email radioshack about this if you think it is more important than the facts about the pro-pulse?

BTW, he happens to be one of the few radioshack employees who is actually experienced in RC, has a mamba/lipo powered M18 and a nitro 1/10 truck, along with quite a few xmods of course..

Quoting it from a picture of the instruction manual... While I'm not sure about the 3 channel part, it has been repeatdly said that its FM, and 80 amps for the esc, while pretty nice, isn't completely unreasonable.

Edit- forgot to mention he said it also did in fact have adjustable links for chamber and toe adjustment.

Your talking about a vehicle you havent even seen yet to say its crap.

I dont have to see it, its made by Radioshack

Even if it does have all the features of a hobby grade rc, it probably wont compare to the major well known brand version of it. Just by looking at the pictures I could already see its cheap. But your right, I didnt see the vehicle so I will stop being prejudice towards Radioshack and give them a shot. But when it does come out, I will be back here saying "I TOLD YOU SO!!!"

Inadvertently you answered your own question. He is one of the few. Here we have RS selling a battery pack thats obviously for 1/10th on their site.

Im not downing the car or not, Im just pointing out how hilarious it is. RS has jumped in, I really don't feel they know what they have jumped into.

Hate to break it to you

"Just by looking at the pictures I could already see its cheap."

So does the rc18t.

You should note that since pictures are out now, I feel safe in sharing this bit of info I was told. A honest to goodness RC hobby grade company has been making it for them. Benthehen , there is supposed to be a little note whom it is somewhere on the packaging. Whatever pictures or source you have, can you inform us who it is?

Uh oh... It sounds like it was Megatech... Well, now I'm a bit concerned.. Although I believe megatech stuff is ussually ok quality, just rediculously overpriced, while the propulse is priced very well for the amount of features it claims. As far as design, thats pretty simple and megatech ripped it to some extent, so I can't believe that they would have messed it up.

If the it is in fact good, I may be able to buy one in a couple weeks- although I am sure one or two other people on here will have one by then.

Also, yeah, "A.J.", you are being rediculous.. Use some common sense and wait untill its released. Because it is being sold by radioshack means nothing- Nowadays next to nothing they sell is actually designed or even produced by them.

I am not being rediculous "Benthehen", its called voicing your own opinion. Not everybody agree's with you or "Mini_Me" and you shouldnt expect it. Its a forum and everybody has his or her right to voice their own opinion.

Some poor guy is going to buy that GP3300 pack listed under accessories thinking it will work with their Pro-Pulse.

lol! that will be a total bummer, if you're expecting to see the performance increase of your brand new truck and then you realize that your new battery is actually bigger than your truck. lol!

Ok, my contact finally got some pics of it... looks a tad flimsy to me, but we shall see. He confirmed that the reciever is 3 channel, although he dosn't see any extra control on the tx. also, he said something about some other upgrade was listed that he missed earlier, but he was going to upload a pic....?
