got this at a yard sale many yrs ago paid like $5 for everything includin a ghetto old dual stick radio the bike actually runs and came with 2 motors buried in a box somewhere right now but i believe the batteries were at the end of there life i got 3-4 charges into them and that was it there was no longer enough power being retained to actually get the bike moving. I would love to spend a few doller to get it running again prob going to rip it apart and give it a fresh coat of paint too

It's a Kyosho Mk.1 HOR. They definitely still hold their own against the newer HOR (relative term, since although they are still making them, the new one came out about 12 years ago).

reserecting my old post finally figured out what the problem is with my bike the wiring inside the battery leads was quite literally falling apart so either need to get a new battery or put new leads on the old battery whihc at 270mah isnt going to happen, leanred more about the bike to such as it takes 6 2/3aa in stick layout etc...

but with this ridiculously warm winter here in canada i really want to get this thing going which of these would be the better motor and why what is the diffrence between them

first motor is a kyosho lemans dm20 (tune up motor)

and the second motor is a kyosho lemans dmc20BB (racing motor)

now I am guessing the second motor is a ball bearing motor

the bike is currently ripped apart and sitting in a box hopefully i can remember how to get it all back together and if not then bike parts and some carbon fiber + xmod are going to make for one mean xmod

pinnacle hobbies in markham have some parts still kickin around. i picked up a set of soft racing slicks, lightweight front wheel weights, a faster motor than the 20 or the 20bb. changed the front fork springs ,changed the rear shock, installed an electric airplane speed control, they are very small. i painted mine like the red ducati 999 model. these bikes are very durable. i have had it for many years and is still going strong. cheers, Scott
