HSVXU6, im looking at about $200-$250, i can get a 6-12xl feigao for $69, the mm esc for $105, or the mm combo esc and motor (4600kv or 5700kv) for $200. I was thinki9ng about getting the 7xl as it draws 95 amps and the mambamax esc can handle 100, and if i blew the bonzer up then i'd spend some buck on something stronger with lipos. But for now its the bonzer, see how far i can take it!

LOOK HSVXU6 IS MY teacher HE HELP ME A LOT
I AM TRING TO HELP YOU FROM MY experiment I SPEND A LOT OF MONY ON THE BONZER
I USE TO HAVE TZ TR MAMBA 4600 5700
1 WHEN YOU SAY 95 AND 100 AMP YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT MOST OF THE NiMH BATT ARE ONLT 10 C AND ITS 40 AMP
THERE IS ONLY 1 BATT THAT CAN hold 20C THAT ITS 80 AMP
THIS IS THE 7 CELL BAT YOU CAN FIND 6 CELL I KNOW THAT BECUSE I KILL MY FIRST BATT
SO YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY LIPO BATT
2 The 5700 is too low on Torque for the Bonzers
3 THE 4600 IS BETTER
4 THE feigao IS TO STRONG AWAY TO STRONG AND IF YOU WILL TAKE THIS MOTOR YOU WILL NEED LIPO

V3 Shocks Installed!
Man what a Difference.. I mean my Mates V3 has lower ground clearance then my V2 but now.. I have another 10mm more!

V2 owners... Hunt down a set of 75mm V3 Shocks for your V2 It makes a Big Ride height difference !

Its about as High as a V2 can go without running the risk of popping dog bones..(although it still may occur)

Hey magnat, when I set my Bonzer up that high it just took a few runs to strip out the drive cups. I didn't know it was happening until a dogbone jumped out !
Just keep an eye on it.

It does have side effects like being top heavy..
Tends to want to flip onto the tailgate on the shell when the climbing grade increases....

HI AVIV123, the battery is fine but as SMJ said it is only 10C, good for what? the price of the battery is cheap but the postage is expensive to make up for the cheap battery price, an old eBay trick from way back sucks the impulse buyers in, then they give neg feedback because they did not read the fine print.

Can anyone Get me a Part number for alloy Shock mounts to suite the Stock Bonzer!

I am in need of getting alloy shock mounts as the Plastic Chassis mounts keep breaking!

EDIT : its OK.. I think I have found the Solution!!!!!

M-03 Carbon Damper Plates !!!

So they Bolt infront of the plastic mounts and re-inforce the chassis..

Thanks Syncro but I looked at it before, and there the Standard Alloy Suspension for the buggy, Not sure how they would go on a V2,... So I am looking at the Carbon End plates..

Case Sense.... You have a V3 Buggy so what ever mods you see done to a Tamiya Baja king is exactly what you can do with yours... mind you, your already ahead as you have a v3 which should have oil filled shocks..

For a Quick Boost, Replace the ESC with a Suitable 15T esc and wack in a Tamiya RZ... unlike the Bonzers, you wont have an over gearing problem as your tyres are not much bigger then an onroad car which all HBX Vehicles were based on : the Tamiya TL-01...
