Is brushless that much better? absolutely no doubt about. Less maintenance, better runs times, more power, a larger range of motors, better ESC's, no skimming of armatures, 5mm pinion shafts and the list goes on. If you want to rock crawl there is a motor to suit everyone's tastes if you want to blow nitros off there is a motor to suit, if you want to run at the top of touring cars there is a motor to suit, if you want to off road there is a motor to suit if you want to bash there is a motor to suit and the list goes on. You can buy ESC's to run brushed or brushless with either Nimh or lipos, what more could a boy want? Re Imax chargers. I have always had a B6 in my arsenal of chargers and gear and I have never had a problem with it. It has always charged, balanced, discharged and cycled Nicd, Nimh and 2s and 3s lipos without a problem. Some will say that the tolerances are too broad, I don't think so, I find them to be quite good. We as people are funny creatures, so will comment on something they have never owned and some love what they own. You will find that some will give you voltage readings etc without even knowing how to use a multi meter, when to take the readings and what they mean and they also expect a charger and multi meter to give you the same readings without knowing how a charger works and how batteries work. You could buy a Chev and it's great I could buy one and it could be a lemon, that's LIFE.
