they will fit just fine. i just put a set on my truck. just use the little aluminum washer between the rim and the nut that tightens the rim down.

rpm 9/16"claw wheels fit the hub but they are not deep enough for the the tires i bought. the tires rub when you tighten the down, but the rims will go to use because i just got a rc10gt from my friend for $60, but it needs some work, like a spur gear, a charger for the power pack, and maybe servos.

It's the Volcano SV, but I put all of the purty aluminum upgrades on it, and dropped in an O.S engine. Here's a pic...

the tires or rims are rubbing? if its the rims, just have to grind or cut some plastic off the inside of the rim, i had to modify the rustler rears to fit.

Man, I wish I would have known that before I ordered mine!! Anyway, I just tried to put mine on, and yep they rub alright. I got the RPM Claws (rear), and Pro Line Moab 2.2 tires. My question is should I sent the unopened rims or tires back?? Here's some pics just so y'all can see it for yourselves...

Heres a side view...

The rear A-arm problem...

And the steering arm problem...
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k57/nantucket10/DSCN0287.jpg

So what do you guys think? Is it the rims or the tires causing the problem?? Thanks a bunch!!

Hey nantucket, do you already have plans for your stock wheels/tires?

Hope you can get the fitment issues worked out.

Nice rig BTW as well!

try a couple of washers between the rim and the hex, enough to clear, it seems like the tires are the problem on the linkages.

that was my first thought but the hub on the rim is so deep there is bearly enough room to tighten the rim down without any washer at all but if you figure somthing out let me know

i know that the tmaxx has hex extenders that make it 3/8 of an inch wider, i have them on my tmaxx, i wonder if they are 12 mm, they are wider than the regular hex's, they are made by parma, i will check and let you know in a few

the tmaxx ones are bigger, i checked parma's website and they only have them for the tmaxx. I also checked ebay. I will think of something.

just enough to get the nut on w/o a washer, i think redcat should make extended hubs just for this reason, or they should make a better selection of tires to choose from.

i can put the rustler rears on and have plenty of thread and they dont rub, the rears did a tiny bit on the inside of the spokes and i just used my dremel to fix that, i just realized that you have the sv and i have the stx, maybe there is a difference between the two for the rims. if they dont fit and you cant use them i buy them from you if you want since they will fit my volcano or tsunami.

Thanks Mini, I'm gonna keep the stock wheels and tires just to have a spare set, and I'm probably gonna go with the whees that abjones has on his Volcano since he hasn't mentioned anything about them rubbing. We'll see what happens!!
