love the shox what are the shox called and would they fit on volcano stx truck look cool nice rims as well

123michael, if you were talking about my Volcano, these are the shocks that I used...

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAHN7&P=7

All that I needed to put them on was some longer serews (from the local hardware store) and some small washers to take up some of the extra space where that funny hex thing was at the top of the stock shocks (sorry, I dont know the name of it!!).

i can put the rustler rears on and have plenty of thread and they dont rub, the rears did a tiny bit on the inside of the spokes and i just used my dremel to fix that,

what size rims are you using?

well i found out how to fix the rpm wheels problem for the sv, just sell them j/k. i found out that if you change the steering arm to the lower whole and the rear a arm to the lower whole on the rear shaft holder thet wont rub on the tire but it will barely rub on the rim when it is tightened down. that can be easily fixed with dremel or file or xacto knife

yeah they fit on but im just going to get some hpi wheels instead of using the rpm wheels because the rpm wheels will fit my rc10gt that i paid $60 for and it took about $45 to get it going, but now im waiting for some warmer weather, and my sv needs to be put back together it played chicken w/ a mailbox post and it lost, but i only had to replace one a arm and a turnbuckle

I was actually thinking of doing the same thing, but I was gonna use the RPM wheels on my old Rusty since the fit. Sorry about the mailbox incident, I haven't ran mine fast enough to run into anything...YET!! I can't seem to get the dam thing tuned properly, of course more patience would help, along with temps above freezing!!

nan...i can feel your pain on the temps thing, I grew up in the Grand Rapids area which i'm 90% sure is further south than you. today in 15 degree weather i was trying to get my X-terminator tuned...and that's nto even cold! go figure, wade from All About Fun Hobbies is colder than i am, and he's in Texas! OI!

at any rate...Ive got a set of RPM slingshot wheels on my Volcano...they're all rear wheels for the front so it gives a little bit wider track, and the Pro-Line Mashers make it stick like crazy

ok so i reaaly want those proline mashers and a new set of rims for my volcano sv, what are the appropriate rims that will fit on my vehicle, i heard talk about certain ones rubbing and was wondering since i have the universal aluminum shafts i have to use the special wheel locking nuts(ones that rims fit on)that are much thinner than the original ones because the threads on the shafts are much shorter , is that gonna make it even worse for my tires to rub since they will be much thinner and shoult sit further in????any help?i havent bought the new nuts yet so if it causes problems id rather stick to the original dogbones
