i have rustler rears on 2 of my redcats, they just have to be trimmed a little in the back of the rims where they rub on the low arms, its a quick fix. i used them on my tornado xp and my volcano stx (will fit on the tsunami too)

for the Volcano you'll want two sets of rears, because it's 4wd.

These wheels are 2.8 and they will fit the Volcano. They Have 12mm Hexes. Make sure you get 4 ea of the REAR set. Do not get the fronts.
You can Also use the rears from the Jato (Traxxas Stadium Truck).

Also here is a Link to a Post written by Ehroof. It shows Pictures of his Volcano with Stampede Rims n tires, Which are also 2.8 inch rims

would smaller wheels on the volcano make it go faster or just make the engine rev faster?

it won't go any faster but it also depends on the size tire you use. the profile will help you with that. smaller tires will give more torque but less top speed. taller tires less torque but more top end. i got 2.2 moabs on my volcano sv but the same height as stock tires. these are 2.2's

nope they work better in the snow like that they bite in a little harder. i tried the other way and it's not as good on snow. moabs aren't the best in snow as it is. i need something much more aggressive. i think pro line mashers might be better.

You can put these on there, it looks like they may have some bite to them.

ranger i think you should use these if you want some bite imex red rock krawler trac ta gator are really soft and the the studs are really flimsy. also they are small and you will lose a ton of top speed on the sv. i have the dirt paws on mine and they are awsome in snow, loose dirt, and grass, but i need either 17t or 18t clutch bell to get my speed back or a two speed conversion, im on the fence about it right now, but i also have a kit for sale on ebay

They might be 6061, I own a pair and I smacked a hydro pole and didn't even scratch them, They guy who designed them really knows what he's doing, they have been tested rigorously and made the grade..I wouldn't have spent the money I did on my pair if I knew they were junk

i bought some hpi rims too and jumping about a foot off the ground cracked one of them. im looking at this as an investment. there are a lot cheaper cars out there we could buy, but we buy redcats beacause of the quality and the service. I got incredible service from exactcustoms.com and the rims are great for bashers and looks. If i go to a track there may be other cars with HPI rims on them. maybe the aluminum set that i have, but not too many will have rims like i have. gotta set myself apart somehow. ill look good, so maybe that will compensate for my lack of driving skill.lol

17$ rims eh...

Thats just funny!!!

You dont know **** about grades of aluminum either do ya!!!

Do your research before shouting your mouth off!!!

Look around for billet 6061 aluminum rims... 100$ for 4 rims is cheap

Dont compare cheap china casted rims to machined billet rims............

Our rims come with a life time warrenty anyhow.

i seen those a buddy of mine has those krawlers on his kyosho buggy. but he can't get any grip on snow with those either. with the moabs i got i didn't lose any top speed at all. the height is the same from the moabs to the stock tires. i'll have to tuff it out till spring and then i'll get me a set of swamp dawgs. like this. and an extra set of yokohama's to go with it. like these.

thats a great idea!! make rims to what people want, just from a picture. You would probably rack up the dough on that.
