Hello all, Yes I recently purchased the blue mustang size 60. It is a top quality model very well made. I haven't started the building stage yet but have inspected the kit and feel it is every bit as good as hangar 9 also I fly and own several war-birds and it should be a great flyer. The only thing about the ARF kit I am going to change is the retract set, it comes with plastic mounting re-tracts and I'm going to use metal set because I land on a grass runway. The set with the kit are just fine but I prefer the metal set for longevity. I am deffinitly going to buy another model with the different color scheme just because of the quality.

I have one. I converted it to electric. It came a little wrinkle, but a good iron took care of that. 1st thing I did was to get rid of the retracts that came with it, and install robart air retract with robo struts, and a big scale like 4" wheel. With everything in place it came out to 10 lbs. With all that weight it flys GREAT!!
It will take off with very little runway, and land ever so slowly, like a trainer. Now you don't want to go too slow and stall it, cause it will tip stall to the left (I stalled it 3 mistakes high).
No need to modify any flaps on it, it don't need it.
So going with a .60 size 2 stroke motor, or equivalent 4 stroke(.91), is all you need to enjoy this plane.
Even doing knifeedge's with this plane is a breeze.

This plane is a winner!!

Good Luck

Just surfing around, I have this mustang, just did a maiden on it last week, os 1.20 AX, 4 blade prop, stock retracts, flying off grass, built stock. Flies great! Looks great, price is great, sweet plane.. I look forward to more fun with it, only issue is I can flutter the elevators at 3/4 throttle.. will fix that then go for it again!
