I am sure for Tamiya it is 48P metric....

So I guess it was designed to allow for adjustment on the motor position.. that's cool..

Are those significantly larger than the stock tires? (in terms of diameter..)

Gonna re-gear by using a smaller pinion gear then?? Or maybe just have a higher top speed?!

No regearing, I'm not planning on crawling with it... I'll run it stock and see how it goes.

If it seems extremely bogged down, I'll try a different pinion, but I've seen many people over at RCMT change the stockers to 2.2's and haven't heard any complaints at all.

I think the combination of the shiftable 3 speed and an electronic speed control will make it run just fine. We will see!

Sounds good, keep us posted!! Looking forward to your side by side comparison between it and its older brother Bruiser!

ouch, my expectations of the f-350 are not being full filled. For the price I expected a lot more metal parts like the bruiser had. I might wait for the price to come down and then get one. I won't pay more than $220ish for the kit though since it really doesn't have that much metal to justify the cost and it doesn't include bearings!

Yeah, but it is also tougher than Bruiser.. high impact plastic isn't a bad thing.. (compare to cast parts...!!)

This is actually something that you wouldn't mind running.. hee hee..

yeah I would find it hard not to run a bruiser, but still I wouldn't want to drive it because it is a vintage! I'm sure the f-350 is stronger, but they could replace the cast parts on the bruiser with machines parts on the f-350. I just find it too much money ($350-400) for a car that has a lot of plastic on it. You could buy 5 TLT's for that price and it's pretty much all metal!!!

oh yeah that's right! And the nice body too, but still $350 is pricey!!! The price will probably drop fast though when intial demand drops and supply catches up to all the out of stock orders.
