If you are looking at the axle from the side (not the back) and you consider the wheels turning forward, the axle will inherently "twist" in the opposite direction.

I believe this mod is designed to prevent that twist of the axle that would oppose the forward motion of the vehicle.

Ah, I got it.. I thought it was for twisting the axle up and down (left and right).. I guess it is due to mounting the axle on the leaf spring.. that makes sense now...

Hunter, that body looks nice. How hard is it to paint compared to a typical lexan body? Did you use spray cans or what?
I almost bought a F350 high-lift at my LHS today. I couldn't do it though... my impulse buys are killing me!

Actually I prefer painting hard bodies to Lexan.

I used the old Spray cans to do this paint job, 3 coats of Gunmetal grey, then 3 coats of Candied Green... That's it.

Paint isn't perfect, but looks real good to me.

Thanks Tex!

I've been putting off wiring it up with electronics...lol.. it's more fun to build and detail than run it.

Anyway, maybe this evening after I finish my CF Emaxx project.

Ya, most of us seem to be that way. Been building and modding for two weeks. Took a short break to run my Rally car for half a pack...

Thanks, and yes I've got 4w steer enabled right now.

It works awesome for tooling around the house.

That looks great!!! Now im wishing I would have bought that at my LHS than the Savage, I just broke the pull starter while starting the break in process.....I now know this will be my only nitro truck, and that it will kill me not having a High Lift.
