I have serveral YS engines and like them well. Their expensive to operate and repair. If your out for fun then go with the OS 160

I prefer the Electrics. If you're out for fun, go with the ys.

I would try this plane with an OS engine, my mates recomend a 140RX but the 160FX is cheaper and we don't know this engine performance.
What do you think?
Thanks.

I bought a Rock 'n Roll this time last year along with a buddy of mine, hoping for and inexpensive competitive pattern plane. We both used OS 140's on ES pipes. We both found the same problem: the thick wing and dihedral. We went to a Temptation wing with the wing tube moved back 1" - problem solved and about 4oz of weight removed from the nose. Main lesson - its not easy to mix a 3D and a pattern design.

I flew (Advanced) with my old Desire 60, with an OS91Fx and a Perry pump.

This years project will be a Proline with an OS160Fx and Perry. It will end up costing 4 times more than the R 'n R, but will probably fly ten time better :-)
