Honker, I'll add you to the roster tonight when I update the www.crowriverrc.com website.

How's she doing? Any repairs needed yet? After this many flights and mailings I would expect maintenance to raise it's ugly head. Hope you all are doing a good pre-flight before you are giving it the ol' toss!

Ya know if someone wants to put a smaller tank in it you are more than welcome. I probably have a one-ounce laying around here somewhere.

Oh by the way, what is it costing to mail it these days?

I just stumbled across this thread and I love the idea! Sign me up.

Too bad I didn't get in between Norfolk Southern and Jerusha. WI is right between MI and IA. I'll just wait my turn like everyone else.

WV, and all to follow.
GRACE flies forever on a full tank of fuel. I mean like 10-15 min or more! You may want to meter an ounce or so into the tank before you launch.

It's pretty cool to be a part of this project and seeing it move around like this. Thanks Mike.

So, what size tank is in Grace - a 2 oz.?

Ya'll said that a battery was included, right? What capacity / chemistry?

On a totally different note - I'm surprised we haven't seen any pictures / video from all the previous pilots!

The battery should be a 270mah NiCad. I think thats what was included... You might want to pull it out to make sure. Haven't seen it in over a year!

Prolly not a bad idea to cycle it a coupla times to see how it's holding up, huh?

I've got cyclers. If Bipe Flyer doesn't have a cycler (although I'm sure he will) then I can cycle the pack a few times and check it for capacity. If it's getting low I've got a couple of new 270 packs here and I'll install one before it gets sent onwards.
