That's great man. Any way to get a mod to throw that URL into the first post of this thread?

The plane arrived today. Putting $200 insurance on it maybe wasn't the best idea; I had to pay $30 in taxes to receive it.

EDIT:
I got ahold of cutoms and they said that anything over $60 cannot be sent as a gift and is automatically taxed. They said I can put in a request for refund after I mail it to Japan.

Sorry about that Bipe - I had no idea they would tax it. I figured I'd insure it for enough to cover replacing all the materials, etc. Guess we all learned something about shipping to Canada. That was fast shipping - hope everything arrived undamaged inside the box.

It's not your fault, you had no way of knowing. My wife received it at the door so... Anyways, now we know for shipping out of country. Unfortunately it's probably a different amount for every country.

Everything is in perfect condition and the plane looks great. I'm looking forward to the first day without rain so that I can get this baby into the air.

After Grace has been to Japan and seen Mt. Fuji... Perhaps it could go back to Canada and spend the summer. That would keep accruing multiple Customs Payments.

Well, it rained the weekend I received Grace, I was sick with the flu last weekend and there is a pattern event all weekend this weekend so I wont be able to fly her, yet again. I don''t want to hold things up, so I may just have to send Grace along to Japanman rather than wait another week. What do you think?

I flew Grace on Sunday using 25% Nitro and 20% Castor. To be honest, it's been the better part of a year since I've flown 1/2A. It was great to fire up a rip-snortin' Cox, toss the plane into the air knowing that there was no turning back and to land deadstick. It's funny to think that things that some people might consider deficiencies can really add to the excitement and fun of flying.

Grace is a wonderful little plane.

Yes, I sure am glad I held onto her. She's a realy smooth flyer and a nice match for the Surestart, which fired on the first flip BTW.

I sent Japanman a PM asking for mailing instructions so that this beauty can continue on her world tour.
