Wow, I've just read these 23 pages and I am intrigued.  I sure hope Grace is still viable.  Would love a chance at flying her.  I have downloaded the plans and may just have to build one for myself.  Really cool idea.  Even if I didn't get her, I would willing be to contribute to her future.

Dear Youse All,

I am going to speak heresy and use some dirty words in the following paragraphs. So if you are of a delicate nature, I urge you to stop reading now.

I'm not kidding.

This is your last chance.

Ok, you asked for it . . .

I have been inspired by Tom Nied's post above to 'fess up to youse guys that I too have pondered building my very own Grace. There are a couple of reasons for this; I only got to fly the original for less than a minute (Vic kept poking me), "Grace" really is, Mike is a heck of a nice guy, and I have been tempted to build a Jedelksy airfoil out of (here comes the first dirty word) Fan Fold Foam (Ok that was three words - so sue me).

Also, since I find myself using more (second dirty word) electric power (Ok, that was two words - picky, picky). And less filthy, messy, noisy glow power sources (well?) - I also intended to leave off the C*x engine (what the heck, I'll do anything to offend anyone still reading).

So snooty, elitist fans of little filthy, messy, noisy small two-stroke engines - what do youse think of that? Nyah, nyah.

Raymond, Grace hasn't even been declared officially dead yet and you're already scheming [diabolically, I might add] to replace her .
With an "electric blow up doll" kind of plane no less...........

Ok Guys,

Sorry for the delay, I've had a lack of free time a made a little repair on GRACE fuel tank was leaking from everywhere and I clean a little bit the engine, test work great (at least better that when I received it

I've send GRACE to flybug this morning should be there in a couple of days I had a blast after replacing the fuel tank could be in the air for about  20 minutes but I think the engine is a little bit weak for the airframe!

I think he only took the blowup doll out for a minute too.

Great to see here surface again. Look back to the original flight reports about how long she goes on a full tank...longer than LeLekky will ever last in the saddle.

FFF indeed.

Get them gliders ready for Saturday Pappy

Bring your wannabee fast buddy out and we will have a high speed demo for him in the afternoon.

FWIW Grace flies longer than I ever lasted too.

Ok, so ou want an official flight report...

Flight #1
flight time: about 30 second, dead stick, landing was a little bit hard broke a prop

Flight #2 (after repairing and sealing the fuel tank)
Flight time about 10 minutes, while gliding a little bit manage to trim perfectly and do some dicing loop

Flight #3
Flight time about 15 minutes, going as high as I could see, wait for the engine to stop, glide the reste of the time, was better than trying some sporty flight

Flight #4
flight time about 18 minutes same as #3, but I've got a better speed and descent managent!

I was making a blow up doll refrence...

If you go back you'll notice I had a small part in Grace's conception and had plenty of stick time before sending her out into the world. Glad you guys are keeping this going. Hopefully Mike showes up sometime again.

I received GRACE today from sdg666 in Canada, an overview reveals no structural issues, but once I am ready to get her up in the air, I will look her over with more details.  Will keep you all posted.
