Hiya,
Here's some new photo's from last weeks 2nd Maiden... flies great now that I have the CG further forward and am using Ail diff. Suppose I now should look at put it onto the floats, but not until I work out a suitable way of adding wheels to them ( the floats )

I like.

How easy was it to convert to glow, any major problems, balance etc.

I wish H9 would make a big version of this, 1/5th scale or somwhere around that (1.20 size) in blue preferably.

I would love to see H-9 make a larger version...scaled to fit their new giant floats!

Nice pics, realy looks the part. Are you going to paint the radial?

P-51B

Glad you agree, would be nice on their floats as you say, especialy with a Saito 170R or something similar.

Didg... I have painted the radial lol

Painted it matt black to start with but looked too black if you know what I mean. I will now paint the cylinders only matt black and do some silver stripes on the fins... watch this space!

Notice that I enlarged the cowl opening? I felt stock it looked too small, more scale like now

I'm going to now look at putting main wheels ( ones with the kit ) in the space behind the step on the floats and rig some dolly wheels onto the float tips... just how I'm not sure yet.

I intend to just have a micro servo in each float to retract the ernest 1/4 scale rudders and do steering wires off the tail wheel. Be awhile but I'll get there

Chow for now,
Paul

anyone built the Unionville Beaver 144in version and is it really scale or should a person build mraerodesigns at 101in . My union turbo 96in sure flys nice but isn't as scale as I'd like. Khelsea
