Jewy the answer to your questions lie within full scale bipes.
The beechcraft stagger wing had low wing LE forward of the upper wing Le and it flew like a pig. Landings were fast as it tip stalled pretty easy. Almost every other bipe has lower LE behind upper LE.

with the lower wing foward of the front LE/CG generates lift toward the nose causing it to pitch up, if lower LE is to the rear of the upper LE/CG, it will do the opposite and just like weight, nose down......good................nose up.........crap
hope this helps if not it`s because my keyboards drunker than i am and it not typin sense

I've got 2s 1050 lipo packs. There's plenty of room for bigger packs but the motor (FC 28-05 Brushless Outrunner 2840Kv) is only good for 7.4V. I think I'll just add a bit of weight at the front to even it up. I bit of extra weight isn't going to affect my flying skills. At my level, who knows, might even help it a bit ! Good to know there's other places in Australia that are cooking at the moment Jaav, we've got 40C forecast today here in Adelaide.
Thanks guys

Con.
I run a 2800 2cell in my EFs with no extra wieght added...Good flight times...

Almost perfect flying weather today..Muggy!!!!

#1 son came out today flew his SPA3D. After a few little problems with the new Tornado , Steering, engine coming loose etc.
When she was ready to fly the wind was up. Did a bit of a long ground roll before lift off, flew her at 3/4 throtle and low rates as it was very aggressive on full, even with EXPO set to 30%....She was getting pushed around by the wind,.Landing!!!!!
All was well on finals then the wind changed 90deg, so I came in a bit low and touched down just at the end of the rocks, Tore off the Main UC then floated down the runway on the nose wheel. Stalled it then cart wheeled her..No damage.....Rocks wond be there next week..

Powered up the Thrasher with a 6x3 prop on a 3 cell, wouldnt move.. fitted the OEM and the 2 cell, tore off the UC, did a hand launch then thrashed her....Then sent her up with the Turnigy cam....

Posting vids..

So is the weather realy bad around Aust. No one sems to be flying.
I went to the beach after work and did a sunset flight while the kids flew kites. The Thrasher was flying backwards..Hard nose dive into the ground..Some thing shifted as the rudder and elevator were at a different angle, had to shift the grub screws..Good old Thrasher cant kill her...Good flying after that untill it was too dark to see....

Well as I look out of my office window the weather is perfect for flying. By the time I get home - or on the weekend odds-on it will be blowing a gale.

Yeah I have an electrafun that has had a b/less/Li-Po conversion just for some flyability and to be able to use some 2S Li-Po's I have lying about from the cars. I have looked this thread over from start to finish for ideas on the e/fun. I also have a heli (Blade400) but I am too chicken to fly it till I get a sim.

OK, the TwinBipe II is ready to go. I put the second wing directly below the top one but I can move it back a bit more if necessary. It's a rickety thing but I'm not really expecting wonders from it - just need to beat my previous record of 10 seconds

Also a link to the maiden flight of my BYOB depron foamy. Jaav, be warned its another slow flyer Mind you it can scoot around the backyard pretty quick. Its hilarious doing strafing runs on the kids and dogs while trying to avoid trees/house/shed etc Unfortunately didn't get vid of that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRnwEVAFsUs
