Time Pilot -> RE: re subscribing to maac. (11/15/2006 1:15:15 AM)

I took a quick look at the form and can't find "pylon #" on the form (unless you are referring to the Interest Section).

Where are you looking?

I'm assuming you are trying to become a member of MAAC, right?

I'm still not sure what you're looking at. Can you scan the document and post it here. Or, you can go to the MAAC website and click on the link "New Member on-line Application" on the left hand side, or scroll down the page a bit and look for the Membership Application under the 2007 Club Documents.

Just so you know, signing for 2006 will cost you half the yearly membership. If you aren't going to be flying until 2007, check the appropriate box.

A "Pylon Number" applied to only those MAAC members that Pylon Raced model aircraft. It may now be obsolete. It was a method of identifying racers from various parts of the Canada. Canada was split into areas with a letter designation. Why the Zone letter was not used I do not know. My Pylon number is 17D, This means I was the seventeenth member to get a number in the "D" area.
