Status: offline 		Hi! For all you people who have questions about weathering your tank or AFV, I think I have found the almost perfect book on the subject. It's called "F.A.Q" or Frequently Asked Questions on AVF painting techniques.
by Mig Jimenez. It's a large softcover book with 247 pages of color photgraphs of different special effects techniques including everything from adding mud, crud, snow, rust, paint chipping, battle damage, and more. Also included are comments on different types of paints, airbrushes & other tools. Each section of color picts also has brief discription of techniques being used. Book is published by Andrea Press, front cover is titled F.A.Q and shows a Tiger 1 model. I found the book at Amazon .com. It's pricey, $54.36 (including shipping). Did have a shippping problem with this book. Amazon said book was in stock, but it took them 4 months to ship the book to me. I think this book will be my bible from now on concerning special effects. Only complaint I have with this book is that he could have elaberated a bit more on some of his techniques.
