Mark, I thought electric motors were supposed to solve the 'engine out problem' on twins. Do you know what went wrong with your motor?

Hi Tom, both of these motors came out of crashed helis. I had them laying around and thought wow I could do a twin with these motors. Hacker later said one of them had a short in one of the windings. It would be better to start with new motors , controllers and batteries.

Hey mark, if you are putting some down into it to make it fly level, and you made it a tad tail heavy, wouldnt adding some nose weight help with the elevator setting? Im getting ready to work on last details and really am interested in what you have to say on CG since the instructions are useless. Right now I would say Im where you are, just a hint of tail heavyness. I like a model to tip foward just a tad. Side to side Im very well balanced. Oh I ended up putting a foam shield between the wires and the main wing tube (aluminum) as it was effecting my radio. Im getting ready for the next test run of the engines in their new position. Hopefully I can get the glow drivers to work this time.

Dan, I made it a tad nose heavy. It calls for the cg to be 4 1/2 inches. It was tail heavy and I barely got it down ballanced there. Mines between 3 1/2 to 4 inches now. I also shimmed up the trailing edge of the elevator 1/8 so I wouldnt need so much up elevator. I made a mistake on my earlier post. It needs a lot of up elevator to fly level.

Bought a Nitro B-25 at the local hobby shop today, I'll be taking it back tomorrow and that's a 200 mile round trip. That's how bad this POS is. I don't want it soiling the air I breath. We did take it out of the box but not out of the sealed plastic and thin foam that completely hides the structure. The top and bottom of the fues is 0 2 thin that is split, crushed, crooked and horribly scalloped then soaked with ca to hold it all together. I didn't save 260 bucks by not buying the kmp I wasted 260 when I bought this box of firewood. No it wasn't damaged in shipping.

Hey Dan,
Just wondered if you had finished and maybe had a couple of flights already? I have not work on mine in a while but plan getting back on it soon. Has anyone else out there flown this plane yet?

Thanks,
Mark

Well for a $ 250 arf, good reveiws way out numbering the 1 bad job, I would rate it very high.

And 1 crash job rated a instant new one. Sounds very good to me.

All kits are not always perfect. Neither are all modelers.

Dan,

I am interested to know about the "Glow Drivers" you used and how they worked. Can you send a website to look at?

Denny
