Status: offline 		Thanks, Tony I cant take all the credit. A friend of mine helped a lot with the scheme. It has all 8611a with a DA 100, MTW canisters, Smart fly turbo reg, 2 Match boxes, Fromco 2600 batteries, JR single conversion reciever. We took out about 2 Lb. total on the build so with the added weight of the cans I think it will be right around 26-27Lb? Still need to do a few things and I should maiden in a few weeks. Ill let you know how that goes.

I'm building one too. I hope your flight reports inspire me to get working on it soon. I plan to have a similar set-up. If you get a chance to weigh it, please let us know. I hope to get mine around the same as yours.

Status: offline 		finally! it was 40* and 15-20 mph but we flew. it flies very light on the controls, spins and snaps were no brainers. it made even my attempt at rollers look good. even at very low airspeed i could not get a tip to drop, it just starts mushing. i can't wait for a better day to start fine tuning.dennis has designed another great plane!

Status: offline 		to me,the test flight is the best flight i have on a plane.you do all the work and wonder if you missed anything. you wonder if it's stright and the cg is close. the first flight is the thrill, than it's back to work trimming for your taste

Status: offline 		Well, after all is said and done it came in at close to 28Lbs. I think after all the lightning the mtw cans gained a few pounds back. To my supprise it was a little nose heavy and the batteries had to be mounted aft of the canapy. Other than that I am ready for a nice day to maiden.

Status: offline 		kevin, i'm also a little nose heavy. my batteries [2x2000] lipos are behind the canopy. i got some more flights yesterday. using a 10x, if it helps, it looks like i have 5% differental on the ailerons and 8% opposite ail on the rudder mix with no elevator needed. this was on another windy day so the numbers may change slightly before i,m where i want to be. snaps are super fast and i may have to tone that down a bit. we[my son and i ] tried a little 3-d and it seams really good their too.

Status: offline 		Bobt2, I got my first 4 flights on it today and its funny because my mix is about the same so far as yours. The plane is rock solid and feels rally good. It was pretty cold out and it took a few flight to get over the jitters of a new plane. After that I could relax and injoy. Seems like plenty of virticle.

Status: offline 		kevin, my verticals are awsome, snaps on the upline don't loose much energy. looking at my program again i realise i have some up elevator with left rudder to hold the knife edge line. i don't always know what the mix is because my son reaches over my sholder and programs while i,m flying.it's easier than trying to remember what you need after landing.
