When I run the subject program, and decide to change the "original airplane" I am flying, and would like to fly it (the airplane changed to) the next time I open the prgram, I find the program reverts back to the "original airplane" I was flying when I reopen the program. The same is true of scenery, etc. I have looked all through the "buttons" on the program as well as the "instruction manual" but have not been able to find a "save as" feature or "save as" button. Can you help me? Thanks. Will

The software should automatically save the last used plane and scenery - and as far as I am aware there is no way of turning this feature on and off.

It may be the case that the file that holds the information of the last state is somehow set to 'Read-Only'. If you have restored a backup from a CD this sometimes happens. Go into C:\Program Files\IPACS\AFPD folder and right mouse click on each of the files in turn choosing 'Properties' from the menu. Untick the read-only box if you find any.
