I've got the 14MZ power expander and am disppointed to learn that although it has a 2amp capacity of regulated voltage to the receiver, this is through just a single connection. Does the pro version not have two leads providing power to the reveiver?

I'm at a loss to understand why the redundancy of providing power through more than one channel was not incorporated into this expensive model?

thank-you
Darin

Hi Darin,
The problem is that we could not get a bigger wire-holder. They max out at 15 positions. There is no way to support 12 channels and two power leads. All our previous PowerExpanders had a single connection to the receiver and we never had any problems. The Sport and Pro have two power leads mainly for compatibility with both JR and Futaba receivers since the power input on the two are on different ends of the receiver. I am sorry you are disappointed with the unit. If you want to return the unit to us, provided you bought it through us, we will refund your money.

Will the 14mz PE work with Jr-Airtronics receivers?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
It would work electrically but I am not sure why you would want to use it. Do you have a 12-channel receiver? If not, I think the Pro is a better choice for you with 10 channels.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Sorry, I haven't checked your website for awhile. I thought you had once told me you were soon coming out with another PE that had servo reversing capabilities in it. Like equalizers.
I thought this was it. Didn't read into it much.

Chris

Hi,
We are coming out with a version that has built in servo matching, its called the PowerExpander Eq10. It should be out sometime late in December. Let me know if you have any other questions.
