F6F Hellcat 120 70" RC Plane ARF - Super Fly Deal. Can this ARF be ordered with the 90 degree retracts sold on your web site? Also does it have workable ailerons and flaps? The picture appears to have both ailerons and flaps.

Thanks...Ron

Ron,

I have the Fly Models version ($139) which is a copy of the CMP version. I bought mine from Alex at AK Models. Nitro was selling rotating mechanical retracts for about $35 at one time. Not sure if they still have them or how well they work. Mine came with retracts but they were non rotating so I couldn't use them. I went with the fixed gear provided because of cost and the fact that I fly from a rough grass field. I have a Magnum 120 in mine and it flys great. The attached U Tube video shows the best and worst landings. I had to bend the gear forward of the leading edge to land without flipping it. The first landings are prior to bending the gear forward and the last two were after bending it forward. If you go with retracts, I would recommend shimming them so the wheels tilt forward somewhat. A paved runway would make landing much easier.
If you search on "CMP Hellcat" there is a very long thread on the plane. Good luck!
