no need for yet another thread on the 18ss, they all really look just like the kit, you can change the bodies however you like them, again, not trying to flame, just search before you post

his topic needs pics I've done a search and didn't find much of anything. I found a massive thread but it was, and many of the pics gone. I'll post pics of my 18ss as soon as I get it and have put it together :)

search terms were:

rs4 pictures pics hpi

rs4 3 pictures

rs4 3 pics

etc. didn't get much of anything.

OK got my RS4 3 18SS. I have started installing the upgrades, but still haven't recieved all the parts in the mail yet. This car will be pretty much entirely aluminum when I'm done and because I have so many parts I will be building another RS4 18SS with the other parts which will be built entirely with speed in mind.

This is just a preview of what i have put together so far...

Yeah I got it from Nova RC. Here's a link to the HPI cooling heads They also fit the .18 Team Infinity engine that comes with the Himoto/Redcat. :)

Hey, What's the gear ratio you have on your car? And do you drag race your car or is it set up for track? And that pipe you have on there(RD Logics)Is tht a good pipe???

it is a good pipe hpi apollo recomend it to me is good

tracks are far from me :( i just do drag races with some of my friends who own rc cars as well in parking lots and such for now till i find one close by there are couple, but a lil far and im lazy to take the trip ( traffic in nyc sucks )

I will try to post my pics after i buy it and build it!

But i have a dilemma, i cant decide which body to get, the Ford GT or Lambo.... Its not a huge deal because im gonna buy a subaru body (mostly for show) anyway, but who says i shouldnt like my race body?

So, in YOUR opinion, which body should i get? GT or Lambo

I like the lambo body better. The GT you have to paint a separate rear and then use the sticky tape to put it on the back. I think the lambo looks cleaner.
