You can download a huge selection of free models and sceneries from the websites below. Many of them require registration. Read the instructions for downloading and installation carefully. You are welcomed to post and discuss your favourite models or sceneries in this thread.

On http://www.ipacs-sim.com you will find some of the best free user models available on the Net. Many of the models you find there are designed by people that are mentioned with their website on this page. ipacs-sim.com is constantly updated. In the future this website will also feature manuals and workshops on how to built your own models and sceneries for AeroFly.

Arthur Schoenknecht: If you are looking for something real special, visit the website of Arthur Schoenknecht at http://arthur.heim.at/ He is building some of the most fantastic models for AeroFly.

Dr.Karl-Heinz Roeder: Another great site http://rodeo.onlinehome.de for superb models. Karl-Heinz also has a workshop online that gives you a good introduction on how to build your own models.

Rainer Stein: Rainer’s website at http://home.arcor.de/rainerstein/afp/index.htm has some great tools that help you create or modify your own models and sceneries.

Jojo’s website: The models on Jojo’s site at http://members.chello.at/johanna.vlk/Flieger/Flieger.htm are really great. The website is in German only, but you should have no difficulty in getting the models.

Dietmar Kühn: Dietmar builds some of the most fascinating models for AeroFly. His website at http://www.kdkuehn.de is very well structured. Be aware, some of the models are for AeroFly Pro and not the Deluxe version. However with some minor adjustments these models work fine with the Deluxe version.

Jens and Michael: http://www.rc-sim.de is another excellent site filled with many Aerofly models

There is a great selection of AFP and AFPD planes in Maaarten de Moor's site http://www.docinsane.com/downloads/aerofly-pro-deluxe-planes/ You can download for free Votec 322, QuiQue Sommenzini Yak 54, and Bill Hempel's Edge 540, and many others!

Get great sceneries and models from the member area of the official AFPD website. To download the new sceneries or models, login into the member area http://www.aerofly.de/www/member.html Please have your AFPD USB-interface serial number ready before signing up to the member area. You must confirm a special activation email for your account to be active. Some downloads may require that you have AFPD add-ons and the latest patch installed.

Notes:
-Please ensure that the models you download are compatible with AFP or AFPD. Some models may be compatible with AFP only, but not AFPD, and vice versa
-Follow the step-by-step installation guide here http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=5241496

Hi,
there are also some not-so-easy-to-find model and scenery resources on the net:

And not to forget Szenerie-Design.de. It is commercial, but the szeneries are verry affordable.

Cheers,
Lego

I cannot seem to get anywhere with any of these sites. Log-in is a must and I do not have the correct log-in data. To re-registor seems impossible. Please explain the easy ...no BS way. I would like to enjoy some of the promised downloads...but it just won,t work. Even when on my screen it says your download was completed. It still does not show up in AeroflyPro.

Hi captin, can you tell us which model you downloaded and from which site? Are you using AFP or AFPD, and which add-ons do you have installed?

Captin, did you place the extreme 330 folder in the aircraft folder of AFPD? The aircraft folder is located here: c drive, program files, ipacs, afpd, aircraft. Some models may not have been designed for AFPD, so if you can remember which site it came from it will be helpful. Anyway, let's give it a try

Hi captin, please let me know the answers to these questions:

1) Did you copy the Extreme 330 folder into the "Aircraft" folder as mentioned above? C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\aircraft

2) Did you install AFPD add-on 1 or 2 (starflight)? These are not necessary to run the downloaded model, but model configuration issues may arise, which can be resolved by a simple file edit

Let me know

Captin, right click on the model folder (which I believe you have on your desktop) and copy. Then go to the aircraft directory, right click on an empty spot, and paste.

Captinjohn,

this is obviously a model from my site.
I remember, we had this discussion already a year ago.
And I remember, there was a video tutorial from Dion, which demonstrated this installation.

Ok, another short description:

You have to create a folder in your aircraft directory with EXACTLY this name: \rExtreme
(Your aicraft folder is most probably C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\aircraft)

This is the result:
C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\aircraft\rExtreme

Then unzip the file rExtreme.zip into this directory, that's it.

I can accept, that you don't know how to do this.
But there must be a PC guy in your area. So please ask him to do it for you.

Regards
Karl-Heinz (Rodeo)
