Hey Guys, Just wanted to bring this new tool to your attention. It is a CNC router for home use. Works on pieces 17" wide 5" tall and length pretty much unlimited. It is by a company call LHR technologys out of Texas. I saw it advertised in the Sears Craftsman catalog. I did a little research and found out who made it. It is called the Carvewright Woodworking System. Tonight I will check it out as my local Sears has one for me to see. I just watched the downloaded video from their site and it seems to do everything it says it will do. This is the tool I have been waiting for for this hobby. Weapons pylons, centertanks, servo arms, canopy arms. Seems like a cool tool to make plugs and casts for glassing. They are selling it for $1800. They say it will cut hardwoods and plastic. I'm sure Carbon fiber too, just might go through the bits quicker. Seems like a deal to me. I will check it out tonight. Just wanted to share with you all, Billy

Also comes with software and memory card so computer does not have to be in the same room or even connected to the machine. I can't wait to check it out. Will keep you informed, Billy

So did you have a look at the cnc router at sears last night. What do you think about it? I download the video and the trial software, the video looks good, but the software I'm to sure. I don't know about cutting bulk head, ribs, or template, or even making a plug. I will kept play with it and let you know.
