Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.X. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.X installed itself into all other
programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racin' R/C 4.6, I can't seem to keep Wife 1.X in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. Wife constantly Pops Up making odd quacking sounds over anything I'm doing and annoys me with things that it wants me to do, places it wants me to go or products it wants me to buy. I've turned my speakers down to the point that I can't hear the racket but still I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0. Will the complete uninstall work on Wife 1.X. Please help!

Thanks,

A Troubled User.

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.X, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.X is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.X and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or
purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.X is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.X manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.X and work on improving the situation. The alternative is a complete reformat that causes most Men to lose everything and start over. Your system would have to be completely hosed to warrant such a drastic remedy and even then you will end up reinstalling the latest version of Wife 1.x and probably end up hosed again before it's over.

I suggest installing this workaround application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. The best long term course of action is to click Start-Run and enter the command C:\SystemRestore\Apologize32.exe because ultimately you will have to execute the Apologize32 process before the system will return to normal anyway. This command should be run repeatedly until system is restored. If your system says "Apologize32.exe File Not Found" you should check your path statement first and make sure you haven't copied it over to some archive folder. Otherwise, you better hope you haven't emptied the recycle bin, because this is one thing you can never afford to permanently delete.

Wife 1.X is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.X comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.X is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt and Thong 6.9. This application is not supported by Wife 1.X and the conflicts will cause irreversible damage to your entire operating system.

Best of luck,

Tech Support

I found this at JokeBox Here and thought I'd share.. .... slightly modified

Gee, my Wife 1.X runs perfectly. I suggest a previously installed program, I'm A Batchelor.dum, is still running in the background. This program issues commands that contradict the functions of Wife 1.X and causes lockouts in the following areas:

Cook.exe
Clean.com
and, most importantly,
Sex.hav

The only way to rid yourself of this problem is to completely uninstall I'm A Batchelor.dum by running two fixer programs called Commitment.ful and Partner.us. When thess programs are run, Wife 1.X will return to normal and all functions will be restored.

Wife 1.x did not work at all for me. It ran a virus program called Poison 1.9. Fortunately I had previously installed the Mom 911 suite which then started Hospital 1.0 and the system did not crash. After running virus removal tools Police 1.0, Lawyer 1.0 and Court 2.1, Wife 1.x was successfully uninstalled. I installed Wife 2.0 and followed the upgrade path to Wife 2.24. Wife 2.24 will allow all the games to run, especially RC Planes 40.2 Wife 2.24 even automatically downloaded Son 15.1 to assist in running RC Planes 40.2 along with DOZENS of add-ons. My favorite add-ons Wife 2.24 automatically installed are Aeroworks Edge 300, U-Can-Do.46 and U-Can-Do.60. My only complaint is that even though Sex 6.0 runs great, I just can not seem to run it often enough. Wife 2.24 takes a lot of resource$$ but has not crashed the system.

Install add-ons Jewelry.$$$ and Vacation.fla, and you'll have no trouble. Be sure you delete Argue.now or the worm program Separate.bed will automatically start.

Is Separate.bed the similar to Couch.sad or Doghouse 3.9? I've had those Trojans get me before.

LOL!

OK - My program Girlfriend v12.0 has now become wife 1.0. It has not spread any of the children.suk files on my hardrive. It also has a cool built in feature of birthcontrol.pil and updates its files daily. It rarley runs nag.nag and has not crashed the system in the past year. The one year aniversary of installing the program wife 1.0 happens tomorrow (11-29-2006). Must find file card.anv and roses.get.

Wife 1.X is a hard working program that earns its user mucho monies! User can now stay at home and race full time RC Car, Truck and boat.

User is very happy with his install of Wife 1.X and recommends that men find the perfect fit for their system before installing. Girlfriends version 1.0 thru 11.0 didn't make the cut, and it took User 28 years to decide on the perfect Wife 1.0 program before he installed it.

Occasionally birthcontrol.pil can become corrupted even if properly maintained and updated. In those cases children.suk will be launched in any case. Alternative solutions may cause other components to crash or work in an erratic fashion.

I have discovered that Children.suk can sometimes be upgraded to Son 15.1 by running a utility called Disipline 1.01 which may also require Spank.ing, Sometimes hovering the mouse over Grounded.4.evr resolves problems. Son 15.1 gets lots of new stuff as long as Grades.AAA is fully functional.

Yes. If Apology.now is not immediately run, the program may install TripToMothers.gon which often causes a reinstall of Wife1.X. At this point, the self protection feature Husband.out may begin which causes Wife1.X to disappear completely.

soon after installing WIFE 1.X, i have had my pop-up blocker removed and a annoying program called MotherInLaw.nag appearing randomly in my newly installed House 2.8. MotherInLaw.nag will sometimes stay for long periods of time, going through Refrigerator 1.3 and Livingroom 2.4 and re-installing a program called AnnoyingOpinions.ctl. I remember my Wife 1.X had once installed this, but put it in CompressedFile.stf and has not used it since i installed VacationKeyWest.fld and Diamond 6.0. And now MotherInLaw.nag is trying to load TakeMyDaughterBackAndOutofThisTrashHeapOfaHouse.no! into my Wife 1.X!!! Luckily, i have jus insalled Dog 1.0 which installs a virus called AlergicToDogs.snz to MotherInLaw.nag's Sinusproblems.snf...So now this program visits less often and usually slows down to DialUp speed when she visits.

Lately however, Storage Space is filling up due to ExpectingChild 1.2 so i might be forced with uninstalling my Truck.big and my HuntingRifles 7.8 so i can have enough starage room for Child 1.0 when it finishes its 9 month loading period.

But the long loading period for the ExpectinfChild 1.2 has caused Wife 1.X to upload MoodSwings.mad, EatEverythingInSight.glp, and temporary put Sex.hav into Compressed file.

I am considering to trasfer data to House 3.0 in a few months due to AnnoyingNeighbor.bth and his loud BarkingDog.brk program, Which will sometimes come over to my FrontYard.grs and commence S**tingOnLawn.pop.

(im not really married or anything like that, still 14, not old enough yet)

lol ..funny stuff guys..

This might have been possible, but.. I just couldn't seem to get the program ballsinher.prs to function properly and chose to reformat.. now, life is much.btr ... It was really cool because I noticed the reformat also got rid of the program- collararound.nck ..and restored one of my old favorites- laugh.alt (aka- happy.guy)... hopefully I can find a Wife1.X.2 in the future that doesn't have as many bugs in it's program.. (yes, I know, all programs have bugs.. but this one was seriously corrupted)... for the next one, I've got a plan.. it's a process called- screening.dat, that could take several months, if not years.. It will also include Prenup 1.0 when it get's that far..

I guess I am one of those retro guys bcause I uninstalled Wife 1.x and reinstalled Batchelor.dum. Wife 1.x can be so easy for hackers it's not funny. The viruses, adware, malware accumulated by Wife 1.x were too much to handle so I stuck Lawyer.XP in and clean it out of my system. Wow NO after effects either. Funny, I was able to keep Son 1.0 and Daughter 1.0. They weren't suppoerted by Wife 1.x anyway. I have been ungrading Batchelor.dum for 10 years now and it is the best open source software I have ever seen.

I can report that I've been running Wife 1.0 for 22 years without a major system crash. Sure there have been a few reboots along the way, but I found that simultaneously installing House 1.1, Dog1.0 along with relocating the entire system on a separate drive from Inlaws.hom worked wonders. We're now running House 3x which includes a small addon Workshop.bsmt which houses Hobby 1.0, Hobby 2.0, and Hobby 3.0, along with a full suite of system tools. When Wife 1.0 installed the Child 1 and 2 modules. it forced me to unload Corvette.73 and install Minivan.90 Luckily the Salary.after.tax script has been sufficient to maintain all modules and addons without starting the Bankruptcy.recovery operation. Now if I can just get the Son 1.0 program off my drive and onto a separate server, we'll all be happier!
