I did have the Xtreme motors on mine, but for some reason they died I'm currently rockin' with the stocks until the GENII Xtreme comes out. I also use a 15C 850MaH battery for the BCX. I stil call mine a BCX, because it was originally a BCX that was converted over. I broke a blade last night doing CAV take-offs in the hanger last night. I lost sight of it after it went outside and I couldn't see it anymore...LOL. My E-flite batteries run me about 10+ mins still and the MAX are about the same. I just set the timer for that long. Anyway, get some new blades on and continue flying missions

wondering what might be wrong.. full right rudder spins the heli at 2 or 3 x the rate as full left. What could be wrong or is this normal.

Status: offline 		Mine will piro to the right faster too! Not sure,but it has something to do with the motor tourque? Also when banking to the left it will hold altitude,but bank to the right,and it looses altitude.I think this is just "normal for coaxle helis. Ron

I think when you adjust the porpotional,it adjust the motors to be in (sync),but when you pior,or turn the outside motor slows down,(or speeds up?) anyway, the other motor's tourque takes over,but by one motor slowing down you loose lift. I've also been told that if the gain is right at being too high,just below the (tail wagging) that will effect the turning also,as the "gyro" is fighting the heli. I run mine pretty loose,and it gives me better rudder control. Ron

Nothing's wrong with the heli. This coax uses the bottom blades as the main and the top ones are the "anti torque" per se'. Since there's no pitch for the anti-torque, the motor adjusts the speed on how fast or how slow the top one spins. This makes it spin to the right faster because the main baldes are being reduced, while the top ones are turning faster. Plus the fact that there are less rotating parts on the top baldes compared to the lower blades, thus producing more spin/thrust. The opposite applies for left and since the main blades have more things attached to it, the slower it turns the heli to the left.

Hope that kind of clears thing out for you.

Yeah,Kenn! I get about 9:30 out of my packs (Common Sense). My original E-flite battery is goi'n South,though. I get less,and less time on it every charge. I'm down to around 5 min tops on it,but I beat my batterys like a rented Mule they don't get much rest between flights. Ron

There’s nothing wrong with a rented mule. At least they're not being violated by owners like we sometimes see here. I've been using the heck out of my batteries. I used to fly about 10 packs with two batteries on a daily basis.

BTW, does anyone know what settings I need to make the CX2 tail pretty solid in flight? I've heard that one can make it like it has a HH gyro installed on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Status: offline 		Well .. I just made it thru 105 pages. I figured I'd read everything I can find before I do my thang !! One thing comes to mind. EXACTLY what it the diff between the 4 in 1 and the newer 3 in 1, which I have ? thanx. I'm sure I will be back alot.

Status: offline 		As I thought the 3-in-1 doesn't include the receiver so you'll need an external Rx like an ar6100 or something that meshes with your transmitter.

For the average Joe you'll need a 4-in-1.


RX, mix, esc, gryo = 4
mix,esc,gyro = 3
