Make sure neither shaft is binding and try binding the receiver again.

Chris

Did both of those already. C'mon we can solve this issue. There's got to be something out there that's causing it.

Don't feel bad. it was 96 pages when I first got my CX2. I did the same thing as you did, read it all and then the thread dried up or I thought it did. If you post questions you will get your answers as most still follow the thread but have moved on to bigger helis myself included. I still fly the CX2 regularly though as it's a really fun little dude.

Hi all, I've been dead and gone for a long time, but I'm back with a quick question for those who know regarding upgrade rotors.

I've been looking at either trying the Xtreme (from XtremeProduction) rotor blades or the AFC System (so call "indestructable" blades) blades on my CX2.

Has anyone tried both, and found one to be significantly better than the other?

Is there a consensus on what blades offer the best performance with the CX2?

Other than that, I think I'm good to go with my first Heli!

Thanks for the info. and feedback.

Best regards.....

Sup all, First of all lemme say thank you for all the knowledge and info found in this thread. Picked up a cx2 about a week ago and absolutely love it. Got a problem with proportional though.
I have it set as far as it will go clockwise to stop the constant nose turning to the left. Halfway through the pack I wind up with the trim all the way to the right also. I'm pretty sure I just need to adjust the servo arms and center the swashplate but I can pretty much hover hands off with everything set. I plan on putting in the aluminum lower and swashplate so maybe after that I will adjust everything. The blades are balanced and I havnt crashed so I know no shafts bent. Besides that in a matter of 2 days I said goodbye to the training gear and hello to the xtreme skids, boom kit, and canopy. Love the way it looks now. Here is a pic of my bird so far. Any advice would be cool.
Thanks again for all the help guys.

Hi Bronxsta79,

Are you still running your CX2 on the stock e-flite lipo? If so, that may be part of the issue with you starting to turn 1/2 way through your fly time and not a setup issue. The CX2 will start to lose its proportional settings/setup as the battery weakens.....Answer: Upgrade your lipo to a good one I like the 850-900mah with a min. of 15C rating (the stock E-flite one is only about a 8-9C and in my experience is crap). You can get a MUCH better batter pack for 1/2 the price of the stock E-flite ones. MEGAPower, SMC, DN, and Kong Power are all good one to go with so far as I know I have yet to figure out if one is better than the others, but I'm working on it.

Hope this helps.

Im with Stone the E-flite pack don't last long and you have to keep triming through the duration of the fly.

Here's what I found,

http://www.commonsenserc.com/index.php?cPath=37_35

http://home.comcast.net/~truerc/ready_pack/ready_packs.htm (look toward the bottom)

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTCZ5&P=7

I have three of the flightpower packs and they work great, however, my original eflite pack still works too. I might lean toward trying what truerc has if I buy another.

Disclaimer: My CX2 is now brushless and runs more efficient.
