IS it Just me or Does AFPD have the best graphics and choice of planes?
Please tell me this is the best one over fs1 or pacific?

So let me confirm... You have to have your transmitter on while using AFPD?

What is the general concensus here. I would prefer to use my own transmitter than using the cheap one that comes with it...

I would recommend that you get the interface version of AFPD, which allows you to use your own radio and it's built in programmable functions e.g. dual rates, mixing, expos, etc. Yes the radio needs to be on while using AFPD, and depending on your radio type and adapter cable design, the radio may switch on automatically when you plug in the adapter into your radio. Some radios will also automatically disable the radio transmission when you plug the adapter in, so you will not need to remove the crystal or module. With the transmission disabled, the Tx battery will last a long time with the sim. Which radio do you plan to use?
