It will be nice if you can share your screenshots and videos of AFP, AFPD, and Easyfly2 in this thread. I just received my copy of the latest AFPD Starflight add-on, and I must say that the 14 models and 7 sceneries have been done meticulously, and are definitely some of the best that I've seen. Here are some screenshots of my favourite sceneries. The amount of detailing is just fantastic, and the scenery itself is breathtaking.

Taking off from the mountain slope of Wöllaner Nock. The model rolls down any slope gradient under gravity!

Howdy folks! Who says you can't 3D on a mountain slope[:D] It's tons of fun!

Where are you people getting all these great sceneries? I've got AFPD with the latest addons and would like to obtain some of these.

Thanks for any info.

Hi cryhavoc, those screenshots were from the latest AFPD add-on 2 (Starflight). Which add-on do you have? Do you know how to take a screenshot using AFPD?

Cryhavoc -> RE: Post your favourite screenshots, videos of AFP, AFPD, EF2 here! (11/30/2006 2:32:30 AM)

That's the one I just installed and haven't see those? I may have done something incorrectly?!

Cryhavoc, I assume that you have installed the 1.9.7.7 update, after installing the Starflight add-on? The photo sceneries are 360 deg panoramic. You won't initially see the pilots on the slopes of Wöllaner Nock until you turn your plane around behind the flight line.

Cryhavoc -> RE: Post your favourite screenshots, videos of AFP, AFPD, EF2 here! (11/30/2006 4:05:44 PM)

Nope. Haven't done the update yet. But will now. Thanks for the advise!

The Adrenaline 120 smoking up the indoor Tyson scenery from Starflight. This plane has the characteristics of a pattern plane at low rates, but throw up the rates and it transforms into a 3D monster. Need more expo at 3D rates.

A shot from Pilsum. Huge flat land for unrestrained flying. Great for jets

xtim -> RE: Post your screenshots, videos of AFP, AFPD, EF2 here! (12/16/2006 8:37:18 PM)

how do you make a screenshot on AFPD

rajul -> RE: Post your screenshots, videos of AFP, AFPD, EF2 here! (12/17/2006 2:05:21 PM)

xtim, press F11 to save your screenshot to the "screenshots" directory C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe\screenshots The saved format is in bitmap. In order to post the screenshot in this forum, you'll have to convert it into jpeg by using a photo editor such as Microsoft Photo Editor or Paint.

You could also use Fraps, but again the unregistered version will save in bitmap.

Hi,
this is my latest creation: a Multiplex FunJet with two-axis thrust vector system! Extreme fun!!
You can maneuver it even in post stall by steering with the propeller.

Fancy flips and - what I call - "frisbees" (extreme fast flat spin) with changing directions. All is possible! [:D]

Cheers!

How do you convert the recordings in the .rec format in AFPD into a format the windows media player or Quick Time can open?

Ghost, you could use Fraps. Fraps works good with a high performance video card. The best way I found to use it with lower performace card, is to first record your flight using the AFP built in record feature. Then, set replay speed to 50% and record the playback with Fraps. Then using video editing software such as Windows Movie Maker, speed the video back up 2x, and save as .wmv

Thanks, Fraps slows down the frame rate so running it in theis manner may help. I may just put the video camera over my shoulder and just run it in that way. Then you could also see my hands to prove that the flight sim is just that good.

Many do it that way actually, especially if you already have a video cam. Use a tripod stand to support the video cam.
